She has heavy menstrual flow accompanied with cramps which gives her stomach discomfort. She complained to the doctor sometime ago and according to her, the doctor recommended pregnancy prevention pills which she's afraid to take because she's still a virgin. Doctors in the house, what advice/recommendation do you have for her? |

That pill she’s running from, is one of the easiest first line management for heavy, painful menstrual flow. They contain synthetic hormones similar to the ones produced by the body (ovaries), which help modulate hers, usually taken for 3 cycles in this case.
