Moday this week,my cousin driving uber was killed while vehicle was snatched, corpse in mortuary as I'm writing this with tears.
September 3 2o22,I was attacked at otedola breach by 8.30pm while trekking as a result of traffic, I fell down from that breach break my hand and leg,it was police that rushed me to emergency hospital nearby before the put my sim card on they phone and reach out to my people.i took me 4 month to recover,still ferking the pain till tomorrow.
I'm scared of life in Nigeria due to many ugly experiences I have encountered in Lagos.
I was rob and bike snatch in 2012 at berger.
My Samsung galaxy was snatch at opebi road ikeja 2018 around 6pm with huge crowds.
How many can we count? Security is zero to be honest o.

I witnessed that in Okokomaiko. I was sitting next to the passenger in the bus going to Agbara. He was the victim. It was around 7pm.

Both passenger, who was sitting close to window, and the pickpocket dragged the passenger's phone for almost a minute before he overpowered the passenger. It was as though the passenger knew it would happen. He was firm but was eventually overwhelmed.

It was like a drama. For a while, other passengers were shouting ole ole. But when the incident ended, we had a good laugh because the passenger jumped out of the bus through the window to chase after the thief. I will never forget that incident

These thugs dotted the nooks and crannies of Lagos State. Those at that Agege underbridge are notorious, they will approach you for money and even complain it is small. I think it has reduced since the Pen cinema Police station return to the area, after it was burnt during EndSARS.

All these has been part of Lagos since I was growing up, they are often local. If you know the gang leader of the particular area the incident occurs, you can retrieve your items back. You need to understand certain things to live in some areas of Lagos.

Ogunlana drive in surulere is another place where people get robbed in the evenings. Whenever you're walking around there in the evening, just keep your phone in your pocket and keep walking fast. Once you notice a group of people approaching you, just cross the road ASAP and stay in the middle then continue your journey. Several people I know have been robbed there but I haven't been robbed cos once I'm on that road, no pressing phone. My mind would be fixed on one thing: getting out. Adeniran ogunsanya is another one. A group of guys would approach you and keep hailing you. They'll beg you to at least give them something even if it's 500naira. Of you refuse, they'll keep following you until they corner you and beat you up. People told me a lot about it until the day some of those guys approached me and I had to give them 200naira to avoid stories that touch. What about lawanson-ijesha road? Same wahala. It's pathetic

I have always prided myself to be eagle eyed, sharp, and street smart. I go to Idumota countless times and I know how I carry myself plus whatever thing else that I'm carrying. Last week, a day to Eid el Fitr, those boys off me. They cut my tote bag in 3 places. The biggest cut under the bag was halfway cut through, as in, the hole was big enough for a baby's head. I had my phone, my purse with about 15k and ATM Card in it, I had my bluetooth speaker in it. I just bought a 40k abaya which was also in it, I had waist beads too in it , my earpiece, pen and 2 jotters.
How nothing fell from the bag is still a surprise to me. I didn't even know I'd been touched. It was a little girl walking in the opposite direction that said "Aunty, wọn ti ge baagi yin!" I was like "Jesus!" Two ladies who sat in their shop and saw the girl warning me just offered me another bag and told me to always be careful. I sat in their shop and checked everything, It was intact. I thanked them and went on my way.

The rogue that targeted me, that particular one gangan, will get his comeuppance surely very soon!

That is the problem..if there was local government autonomy in Nigeria... where the local government would have had sufficient funds, money to develop the LGA areas villages communities in which the development in this LGA areas villages communities will attract investment, jobs, and establishment of companies industries bussinesses this will provide jobs for the youths in those developed villages communities LGA areas in Nigeria ..and it will reduce rural urban migration..it will reduce the youths and nigerians from migrating to Lagos and other cities and other urban areas because they already have jobs and bussinesses to do in their developed villages communities LGA areas and reduce the population in Lagos and other major cities in Nigeria and reduce crime in those major cities and in the urban areas

Every state has a spot that is know for criminal activities and unless the government in various states do something to flush these hoodlums out, this criminal activities will persist. I live in Warri and there are some black spots in Warri that when walking at night in those areas, you have to be extremely careful.
