They are affiliated to several international organizations in Europe and North America and have offices in these locations. The organization is looking to restructure its operations portfolio to meet its expansion objective in the education service sector and better serve its esteemed clients. It is a place for highly dynamic and diverse thinkers, doers and result driven individuals with interest in technology, learning, teaching and helping teens and young adults develop the knowledge and skill they require to a promising and fulfilled life.. We are currently looking for Head of Operations for its Educational Services business in Port Harcourt and the South-South. The Candidate: We seek a candidate with deep understanding of the trend and development in the education and learning technology landscape driven largely by technology, the need to explore leaners natural learning path and develop uniquely tailored teaching techniques and real-time learning program to make learning fun, boundless and diverse, unrestrictive and experiential, non-conventional, practical and engaging to deepen learners experience and interest. The candidate shall have hands-on knowledge of international admission program, highly innovator and out of the box approach, experience in professional and international examination preparation such SAT, required to help children forge a stronger career future and life opportunities. [b]The role [/b]is for an explorer, non-conventional manager, organizer, broad thinker, innovator and for brilliant mind that loves education, with a strong moral, analytical and business development capability. Experience in managing a school or any learning or education regulating agency at a senior level will be an advantage. The HOO must be a good capital steward with strong enterprise acumen. • Strategic and critical thinker with proven ability to lead thoughtful, transformative action within complex organizations. • Deep knowledge of research, principles, and practices around diversity, inclusion, and ethnic/tribal equity with strong moral ad ethical behavior. * Excellent communication capacity to relate with local and international stakeholders • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments, regulators, government agencies, schools, or organizations to achieve convergence in strategy and practice. • Ability to meaningfully engage a wide variety of diverse stakeholders in challenging dialogue and critical self-reflection around tribal/ethnic identity, implicit bias, systemic tribalism or religious bias, and structural inequities. • Ability to grow cohesive partnerships and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • In-depth knowledge and experience in leading data-driven practices including distilling analysis into insights and translating insights into systemic action. • Ability to effectively achieve multiple goals and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. • Proven ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders to lead and drive change, including influencing and motivating others toward a common goal. • Lead a creative, innovative, and high-functioning team; delegates and leverages the team effectively to drive for impactful results and achieve ambitious goals. • Ability to pursue and implement innovative ideas and methods. Committed to seeking out and sharing current research and evidence based best practices. The Role: The role will develop and implement a robust learning program driven technology. The HOO shall explore, initiate and drive alternative earning programs through utilization of all learning infrastructure and means including YouTube, ,TV, various learning app, online learning, promote the integration of learning and education curriculum and program from Europe, North America and Asia. And transmission of structured learning into classroom and homes for students. The candidate shall enforce international standard of learning while being complaint with local regulations. • Develop policies and procedure and ensure a functional operating system. • Oversee the development and deployment of technology tailored learning across the institution • Oversee the development and deployment of technical trade learning programs, internship, field hands-on participation and integration with regular curriculum in conjunction with Chief Academic Officer • Oversee and deployment of games and play programs to excite, supplement and stimulate learning and interest including sporting infrastructure, sport events, virtual reality .programs and in-doors gaming activities • oversees and directs the following areas: new Facilities projects and maintenance, Safety & Security, Procurement, and Information and Technology Services, catering and janitorial services, transportation etc • development of operations budget, planning and in conjunction with chief academic officer, sales and marketing develop growth plan and meet growth targets. • Oversee development and maintenance of tools to monitor implementation of initiatives, business operations, and ensure compliance with established operational policies and procedures. Proactively identify, analyse, and address off-track metrics to achieve outlined goals and objectives. • Identify opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and align teams to realize efficiencies. • Partner with Finance to implement cost savings initiatives to reduce wasteful operational spending and align school resources to the organizational priorities. • Responsible for the determination and execution of all the budgets for operational departments in compliance with established local, state, and federal policies and regulations. • Performs other duties as assigned. Experience: • 10+ years of strategic senior leadership experience in a fast-paced, and high-functioning education, research, or related organization; Private or Public school or research institution experience preferred • Proven track record of successfully leading a medium size, complex organization and a broad range of stakeholders to reach ambitious goals around major change management initiatives • Experience in guiding data-driven inquiry to drive a culture of continuous improvement • Strong exposure and experience with technology enabling learning tools Level of studies: Diploma, Bachelor, or Master’s degree in Education or similar discipline Please send your Resume to fkkoots@gmail.com before June 24th, 2024 |
