Advice Needed.... by ajoks533: 10:11pm On Apr 24
Good day friends...
So I have looked left and right seeking for a way forward away from the constant frustrations of waking up, driving my car to filling station and buying fuel @N670 per liter, then use the fuel to convey passengers from point A to B at a price I feel isn't worth it, but can't kill another human being with high price cos we are all passing gas through same difficulty. Yet, I go home making Just100% of my investment on fuel.
I have a wife and a baby to take care of and am scared the situation in the country isn't getting any better.
Had a chat with a friend who squatted me when I relocated to this city years back. He is based in Canada and I combined about the situation I and others are facing, he said I can get to Canada on a tourist visa and then he can link me up with a job which can get me a specific work permit as the Canadian government has allowed tourists to get jobs while they are on visit Visa. Mind you, I will have to pay the guy who will help get me the job.
My concern now are;
1. How can I get an open Visa in case I decide to get say a better job tomorrow.
2. Does this route guranty/qualify one for Permanent Residency cos he said the job will be Lmia positive job
3. How can I get the loved ones am planning to take the risk for their sake over to Canada.

Plz I wish to know more before I can make my decision, cos I don't want to start what I can't finish or what will backfire tomorrow.

Thanks and plz be kind

the package is tourist visa. Then when you get there you will claim asylum which allows you work till the case is decided. You cant bring your family unless miraculously your asylum gets approved.

All these convert to work visa talk is a cheap scam. Your friend is not being completely honest with you. He wan chop your money.

He said that I can do asylum which he doesn't advise cos it's 50:50 chance. However, the one that someone will help me get a job is the best, just that I will have to pay the guys as I work. He also said payment is left for me to decide how much I would want to be remitting weekly or monthly and the earlier I pay off, the better for me to start saving.

job offer is currently being sold illegally for 40k Canadian dollars. Which is 38m naira. There are people willing to pay on ground. Why will they now want pay small small with you?

Your friend will likely tell you its 3-5m million and you will get scammed lol. Your friend is on asylum dont be fooled.

Was actually told 20k cad, but have to pay as l work.
This is a man who sheltered me when I came to the city I am now, fed me and was good to me. I doubt if he has intentions to scam me, unless the job agent he wants to use to help me will.
And no I don't think he is on asylum, he went with study visa 2 years ago, his wife joined him last year too.

Is getting the visit visa guaranteed and do you have to pay him for that also? Anyways I would suggest you keep an open mind and have a plan B in case things don’t go as he says. Also do not be in a hurry to part with your cash, always verify first.

You can also explore the student route or the express entry route. Those are more straightforward pathways to japa to Canada.
