The Company is a technology service provider. They build operating systems for residential and commercial communities that help to streamline and simplify their operations – simplifying processes such as billing, collections, utilities vending, code-based access control, issue management, accounting and much more. They also provide direct services to households such as marketplace services, rental-assistance and household financing

About the role
What it covers: As the Finance Analyst, you are responsible for overseeing the financial operations at the Company. This will include working closely with the Management team, business partners, and other internal and external stakeholders to drive effective financial control and planning process to support business strategy.

Who you will work with: This role is part of the support services team and you will be reporting to the COO. In addition to working with the core team, you will also engage with other stakeholders in the Intelligence and Delivery teams.

What will you do:
• Liaise with business teams in establishing financial plans, project budgets and forecasts for both short and long terms
• Manage revenue collections
• Manage and build financial/operational dashboards to monitor daily and weekly performance Develop profit and loss plan to ensure maximized returns and profit targets
• Automate the collection of financial and business intelligence metrics for monthly & quarterly investor reports
• Collaborate closely with the COO to manage all financial aspects of the company, with a focus on planning, tracking and reporting against the company’s financial plan
• Coordinate various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks) and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly management reviews
• Drive the collection and preparation of company data for audits, account opening, due diligence reviews and tax filings
• Drive complex financial modelling development, enhancement and maintenance Provide financial support and advice to management in closing business deals and on market opportunities
• Ensure tax and statutory compliance (i.e. VAT, PAYE) for the group with all government agencies including FIRS, LIRS, etc.

Requirements for the role
• 5-7 years experience in an Accounting, Audit, or Finance role, preferably in a fast-paced, high growth startup company
• An analytical background working directly in an FP&A, investment banking or consulting environment; experience with modelling, analysing and monitoring revenue and its key drivers Professional finance certifications (CFA, ACA, ACCA, CFP, CMA, FMVA, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of business and financial plans, financial forecasting, and projections Proven experience in financial statement preparation and reviews
• Good knowledge and experience in preparing financial reports
• Strong financial modelling experience
• Advanced knowledge of accounting standards and fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes (state, federal and international)
• Experience with managing relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
The proven ability to manage tight deadlines. This involves long term planning and clear instructions.
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organisational and consulting skills: analytical, written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills
• High initiative and leadership experience
• Motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism
