Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in the waste management industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's financial records, performing reconciliations, and printing bills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and experience with financial software.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit card state and other financial accounts
- Ensure accurate and timely printing of bills, invoices, and other financial documents
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and spreadsheets
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies and budgets
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
- Perform other accounting duties as required

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the waste management industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and financial regulations
- Experience with financial software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation
- Experience with financial analysis and budgeting
- Knowledge of waste management industry regulations and standards
