The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Nigeria Consumer Credit Corporation (CrediCorp) has initiated a credit support program to make available consumer credit to all Nigerians starting with Federal Civil Servants to provide accessible credit for consumption, small and medium scale businesses in Nigeria.

President Tinubu on Wednesday this week approved the takeoff of the first phase of the Consumer Credit Scheme.

Modern economies rely heavily on consumer credit because it allows people to improve their quality of life by making upfront purchases and making responsible repayments over time. It makes it easier for them to make the important purchases like homes, cars, healthcare, and education that are necessary for their continued prosperity so they can achieve their dreams.

The FG Credit Scheme is open to Nigerians of all categories, but registration will be in phases according to any of the following categories you belong:

1. Federal Civil Servants
2. State Civil Servants
3. Private Sector Workers
4. Informal Sector Workers
5. General Public

Application for FG Consumer Credit Scheme has open for expression of interest by all Nigerians through the Credicorp application portal where you can Register/Login for the loan.
