First of all am not trying be tribalistic we are here to learn. Out of the three main tribes in nigeria, Hausa/Fulani are known for agriculture or livestock, igbos are known for business. My question is what are the yorubas known for?

Look at how the times of 1963 defined them. I won't state time here so you won't say I am tribalistic..

You can't fit the Yoruba into one or two word. They are a very dynamic tribe.

Easy lifestyle , partying and sex .

Sex is more valued here than mansions. A man who has slept with multiple women has more bragging rights than one who has multiple mansions. Eg the 70 year old man in the picture below. If you want to gain their respect , don’t brag about mansions , brag about how many women you’re phucking.

Partying : They will work and save and blow it on a weekend of partying and then start saving all over again.

Easy lifestyle : hard hustling is not really their thing. They’ll rather have foreigners come in and invest and then they’ll chill and collect taxes and fees and claim landlord.

They can farm tho. I believe they’re agriculturally self sustainable.

P.S I grew up in the west and majority of my friends through university were Yoruba. So go argue with your kabiyesi
The man you posted Francis Van-Lare is from Akwa Ibom or Calabar.

They can fry raw PEPPER (RODO) and eat with rice.

I had issues with one of those Yoruba demons. during my school days the guy nearly killed me with pepper. If I cook with a little pepper, the guy will complain and still add dried grinded pepper

Las las we went cooking separately

Your proof is that he’s wearing akwa Ibom attire? Are you serious ?

So if I wear a suit , that makes me an Englishman ? Or a jellabia makes me Arabic , how about Danshiki , then I’m Hausa

All these APC supporters . I don’t like engaging you people .

When you answer why everyone wants to associate with Yoruba, you will get answer to your question. Someone said they are unserious people who have 50% Christian and 50% muslim lol, what does that imply? Sense and tolerance.

If religious war is to break out in Nigeria today, only Yoruba people will be unwilling to go to war, why? Every family in Yorubaland has people who practice the two religions. It talks more about people who can live harmously with others no matter what. It is only when a bastard among them show face that they now take a firm position.

Entertainment (Music, movies)
Education
Politics
Legal sector
ICT
Banking and finances
Oil and Gas
Rich culture

Tell me where other tribes beat Yorubas in the aforementioned areas. If you want to be a fool, do it codedly.

I believe they are known for their love for their language. No matter where you go in the world, when you see a Yoruba person, you will always know. They are proud of their language, culture, and heritage. They also like too much pepper. But I'm not complaining; I like too much pepper, too.
