Ndi Ogbakuba community in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, hosted Nigerians from all walks of life in a weeklong activities of burying their beloved traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Paul Christopher Udedike Afuberoh, Igwe Ogidiga 1 of Ogbakuba Kingdom.

Igwe Ogidiga died at the age of 88, and the activities was rounded off with the last Ofala Festival in his community.

The solemn occasion witnessed a gathering of luminaries from Anambra state and beyond.

In a poignant tribute, Hon. Afam Victor Ogene joined hands with His Royal Majesties, captains of industries, Teachers, political leaders, and members of the community to honour the legacy of the late icon and master strategist.

Igwe PCU's Last Ofala, marked the end of an era, leaving behind a profound impact on the socio-political landscape of the community.

His unwavering dedication to the betterment of his community, coupled with his astute leadership, earned him the respect and admiration of many.


Hon. Afam Victor Ogene, recognizing the indelible marks left by HRH Igwe PCU Afuberoh, paid homage to his enduring legacy during the funeral proceedings.
In his eulogy, Hon. Ogene highlighted the Igwe's invaluable contributions to the development of the community and emphasized his role as a beacon of wisdom and guidance.

As a Federal Lawmaker, Hon Ogene acknowledged the significance of HRH Igwe PCU Afuberoh's leadership in shaping policies and initiatives aimed at fostering growth and prosperity in the constituency.

As he bids Late Igwe farewell, Hon. Victor Afam Ogene joined the family, friends and the good people of Ogbakuba Kingdom, to reaffirmed their commitment to preserving his memory and continuing his noble legacy.
