I just can't figure out how to defend my Dunukofia dialect of the Igbo as a distinct tongue from the mother Igbo. Generations after me would struggle in vain to achieve that. At best, i might win the battle of being identified as a Dunukofia man but the battle of the language would never be won. It would always be Igbo. Why expend all the energy? 12 Likes |

These Aros descendants do not have issues associating with the Igbos. Check the background of any Ikwerre man that associates with Ohaneze . He is an Aro Descendant.
