Because they can't point to a single legacy project or any project for that matter that their Messiah built and commissioned from scratch, they are now pushing the frugality and minimalist form of governance. This is despite the fact that Obi was far from frugal when it came to public funds. Instead, Obi sold them a dummy of investing their collective federal handout cheque into his personal portfolio. Now they are all out condemning every project that this current government is proposing and undertaking and declaring it wasteful. Mind you these are the people regurgitating their cult hero's mantra of moving the nation from consumption to production. To them the much needed investment in public infrastructure like roads, bridges and rail lines is a waste. Their position is that Nigerians are starving and such investment should go to stomach infrastructure. So here we are with this duplicitous dialectic Obidient zombies kicking against govt spending on much needed infrastructure. 6 Likes |

AuschwitzPrefec: Another day, another hour to talk about Peter Obi instead of the fuel scarcity ravaging the entire country which has led to an increase in the pump price of petrol to almost #2000 per liter in some areas Peter Obi is the reason Tinubu is inflicting premium pains on Nigerians since he grabbed and snatched power 1 Like |

Agulu Obama and his nonsense rhetorics. When President Shehu Shagari conceptualised the 3rd Mainland Bridge in 1976, a lot of people called it a white elephant project. They said Lagos had 2 existing bridges - Carter and Eko Bridge. A third bridge was unnecessary. Victoria Island was partially developed, and if at all a bridge was needed, it should end at Ebute-Metta. Nigeria was going through a tougher time with back to back military coups, structural adjustment programs, etc. Shagari continued with the project and IBB despite all the challenges completed it and extended the bridge from Ebute Metta to Oworoshoki. Today, Lagos state can barely survive without the 3rd Mainland Bridge, and everyone is now clamouring for a 4th Mainland Bridge. When Gen Abacha started the construction of NLNG in 1995, Nigeria could be likened to hell. Cancelled elections, interim government, truncated democracy, and foreign sanctions, Nigerians were cooking with sawdust stoves. There was no food to eat, and universities were shut down. Today, NLNG has paid over $18bn to the FG as dividends. When PBAT envisioned the Lekki Free Trade Zone, the deep sea port, Red and Blue rail lines in 2003, people thought he was bluffing. Today, the free trade zone houses the biggest refinery in the world and arguably the most important asset to our economy. The Lekki deep sea port will generate more than 50% of Nigeria's GDP. Agulu Obama lacks vision. A completely shallow mind who can't see beyond his nostrils. 8 years as governor with zero legacies now turned Twitter influencer. *Copied* 1 Like |
