The Israeli Merkava 4 tank is considered an advanced tank that includes many defensive and offensive technologies, and contains an active defense system known as the “wind suit” system, which can intercept anti-tank missiles before they reach the tank’s body.

The Chariot 4 tank is designed to provide advanced protection for its crew and has modular armor that can be replaced or upgraded to adapt to changing conditions. The site explained that it had been noted that there were weak points in the tank that could be exploited. For example, the "Yassin-105" missiles, which were developed by the Palestinian "Hamas" movement and used in the ongoing war against the Israeli army, were able to overcome the tank's defensive armor using two tandem warheads. The first penetrates the first armor and the second explodes the main armor to penetrate it and achieve the goal of destroying the tank.

It is worth noting that the tank has thick armor, but the thin armored part can be targeted and is a weak point located under the turret. According to military experts, there are different techniques and strategies that can be used to deal with the active defense systems possessed by the Israeli tank.

The Hebrew website presented some examples that can be used to target the Merkava: Electronic warfare: The use of electronic warfare technology to neutralize the enemy’s radar and communications, and prevent the detection of a tank or armored personnel carrier. nziv said that the Egyptian army is studying how to confront Israeli Merkava 4 tanks and the Goliath defense system. The website added that if the President of Egypt believes that he threatens Israel despite all the existing relations between the two countries within the framework of the peace agreement, then he is mistaken. The Hebrew website said that Israel must do what is right to maintain its security so that an enemy of the lowest levels cannot attempt to carry out his plot against its population again!, he said.
