Protocol

We gather here today on a positive note - to commission road projects and economic ventures embarked upon by the Niger State government.

Since I am on the very fertile and glorious land of Niger state, the power state let me begin with home - because as they say charity begins at home.

It would be an understatement if I say that I am proud to be here today. Indeed my heart is filled with joy because as I came into Niger, it was a plethora of development projects and endeavours I saw littering the place. That is progress!

Progress is what our party, the all progressives congress stands for. Anywhere apc is leading, you must see progress. We promised progress, President Bola Tinubu promised progress and renewed hope and that is what you see everywhere, across all sectors. Nigeria can never remain the same.

Same with Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago a true son of APC, a full blooded party man and a great ambassador of progress.

From what I have seen so far on the ground, there is no doubt that in.the.next few years, Niger state would have been completely transformed.

The landmark economic projects being commissioned today are an indication that Nigeria can work in our lifetime if we put the right people in place.

Governo Bago is one of those right people the apc has out in place and we are very proud of him.

Within a short time, the governor has distinguished himself as a first class agricultural revolutionary rather than be a reactionary.

He came and met challenges but he has taken on those challenges with poise, decorum, panache, proactiveness, and he is producing results.

So on behalf of our great party, the APC let me say that we a very proud of the Governor Umaru Bago and present him as a shining example of good governance.

He has engendered peace and confidence amongst the diverse people of Nige.
He is leading with decorum and making government look very easy, no rabble rousing, no faking and no pretence- pure quality leadership that is in touch with the people.

His leadership has made economic activities to thrive , a testament to his great administrative skills and political sagacity.

I am not however surprised at the developments I am seeing in Niger because I have observed Governor Bago long before he came governor. His personal strides and love for good result long before be became governor has clearly shown the high quality of who he is.

Let me add that all these great feats would not have been possible without the support of president Bola Tinubu, the master developer , seasoned politician and technocrats who has made his mark boldly in all spheres of human endeavour.

So we thank the President immensely for this. We in the APC are proud of you and your monumental achievements since you took the mantle about one year ago. Keep showing us the way Your Excellency, we will keep following. Nigeria will be better , greater and be more united because you came!

Nigeria will soar above all its challenges and we will get to the promised land as a people , united, strengthened and blessed.

God bless you all.
