Rufai talks like someone with lack of long term view. The wasteful and unsustainable subsidies and corrupt official exchange rate regimes that past govts have been unable to take tough decisions about. Now we have someone with the balls to take that decision for future sake and someone is talking like a primary school student.

tinubu, his vice, his ministers, legislators, governors, top brass in the military enjoy free feeding, free accommodation, free transportation, free medical care, free internet, free dstv, free phone calls all at home and abroad. pls which tough decision has tinubu made to stop these freebies? are these freebies sustainable?

what are the tough decisions you say tinubu has taken regarding subsidy and forex and how were they corrupt and unsustainable? what are the tough decisions you say tinubu has taken for the sake of the future?

Comparing an eleven and half month baby girl to an 8 year old girl.
No be mumu bแบน dat,Rufai?
Tinubu is just eleven month.
Even Obi that used 8 years as Anambra governor was a grave failure.
Tinubu will be the best President ever.

@ Mariangeles Buhari failed and Tinubu is failing, there is no much to pick between them. I can't praise failure for the sake of a bigger failure.

I don't think Tinubu is a failure. His assignment is for 4 years and he's just about to end his first year.

And 2ndly, your preferred candidate couldn't have done better. Yes, he can go about criticizing, it's the beauty of democracy. It's very easy to talk from outside, but the heat is actually inside the kitchen.

You people excuses have exhausted. It was you same morons that said give tinubu six months, now it's been one year and each day is worse than the last. Shut up. Stop calling peter obi.

Just 5 throw-ins:

1. The bane of BATeria's economic woes was when Emefiele told him he worked with GEJ & Buhari out of love, but he's done, that he could not work with him. Result: Na persecution followed suit.
2. BATeria has not really done badly; he promised to RENEW whateva Buhari had done. Can you imagine BAT & 2nd year in office?
3. He shouted out "EMILO KAN" NOT NOT AWALO KAN!
4. He's self-actualised; all what he wants is to recoup investment and go and siddon; he is done for...
5. Nigerians: wetin we dey see so, e be like say: except there is "AN INTERVENTION" by any means necessary or at all costs, BATeria no get anything positive to offer Nigerians apart from multi taxation policies,

If Tilumbu has been working, Obi wouldn't be this popular.

The more Tilumbu makes Nigerians suffer, the more they wish for Obi.

I'm sure you know this so rather than keep attacking Obi, let him show workings

Obi can never be president of Nigeria for the following reasons.
1) He is 3rd class citizen and is not fit to rule over real Nigerians
2) He and his horde of OBIDIENTS are too DUMB&DAFT to understand how politics in Nigeria works
3) He is too bigoted with deep hatred for Muslims

Such a .....how can you judge who is yet to complete his first year in his first term with someone who had 8 years? This guy is doesn't need this attention just to cash out.
Why can't Tinubu be judged in the first year, did they put him there to worsen the situation of the country? He should have let things be like it was when buhari left, why must he impoverish the whole nation the more under 1yr, even far worst that buhari did in 8yrs? So we all should keep calm until people starts dropping dead on the streets? Our purchasing power reduced by more than 140%, ordinary Toyota Camry 2008 that used to sell for under 2million during GEJ regime is now 9million + and you want people to be mute!
You know deep within you that Tinubu is a capital failure, I really hope that he would prove me wrong and return things as it were when he came.

Ask Tinubu that question. However, you must be able to prove, beyond reasonable doubt, that Tinubu isn't credible.

You have the floor, show your proof to the court of law not necessarily to us on nairaland or social media.

This speculation about other candidates is pointless. It is fruitless. It is weak. It is on its own, a tacit admission of failure. The good thing is that each time BAT supporters refer to 'preferred candidates', Nigerians are reminded that as voters, they do have options.

There is only one way for the BAT crew to shut down the opposition and that is to govern well. There is only one way to silence so called 'preferred candidates' - and that is to fix the leaking basket that is Nigeria at the moment. Unfortunately for everybody, BAT has so far been unable to do this. Put your hands to the plough and get to work repairing this country. Now!

Tareq1105:

That wasn't what he and his team said last year when campaigning to get the top job. They told us stories about 'teamship' (does anyone talk about that these days?) undecided. What happened to all of that?

BAT pulled out all (and I mean all) the stops to get this job.

There is no room for excuses or failure. The administration must deliver. It is already falling behind on every performance index you can think of.

The clock is ticking.

Yes, they have enjoyed freebies previously but I can see efforts at curtailing them though there is a long way to go and we should keep reminding them. I am happy about the decisions to limit entourages on trips and the one that VIPs must pay tolls at airports. There is a lot to go and these can be done in parallel.
