The Command Children School, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks, 14 brigade Ebem Ohafia was agog on the 15th day of May 2024 as the Senator Representing the Good people of Abia North formally commissioned and handed over 2 blocks of classroom with offices and a store room, fully furnished with reading Desk, Chairs, Tables, Teaching Boards Etc to the Commander Brigade Command Ohafia Brigadier General O.O Diya ably represented by Major P.C Otubo, the Brigade Education Officer of the Command Children School and the Head Mistress of the School Mrs Ogbonnaya Mary Micheal

The Distinguished Senator who was represented at the event by his Senior Legislative Aide for Abia North, Barr Victor Etie, accompanied by His legislative Aide for Ohafia LGA, Barr Mbila Uma Ayi, informed the authorities, Teachers and pupils and the entire 14 brigade community that the Senators intervention in Education across various Schools in Abia North is because of his belief that Education is the highest form of liberation and empowerment, Stating that an Educated Nation begins by Educating a child, he charged the Army and School Authorities to make good use of the Classroom blocks and facilities to impact sustainable knowledge on the pupils of Command Children's School, he further thanked his host for the warm reception accorded to the Commissioning team.

The Brigade commander represented by the Brigade Education Officer of the Command Children School, Major P.C Otubo, who gladly welcomed the team, thanked the Senator for his kind gesture by facilitating the Classroom blocks at the Command School, Describing it as timely and highly beneficial not only to the Pupils and the entire 14 brigade Community but also beneficial to their Host Community Of Ebem Ohafia.

Some speakers at the event, including Prince Emma Nwosu, the APC Chairman Ohafia LGA, thanked the Senator for his various interventions across all sectors of human/ infrastructural development in Abia North, describing the Senator as a once in a lifetime Senator, in His words Abia North has never had it so good.
