I hate north london derby
My mind just come down since no thanks to Raya
Even with 3-0 I wasn't comfortable but glad it's over
3 final left starting with inform Bournemouth
City will have to do what they haven't done in a long time beat spuds at home
Spuds have to win all matches to qualify for UCL

Very possible cos Spurs are desperate for ucl football too. So no way they're going to try sabotage by letting our rivals win to jeopardize us. That will be self sabotage 😂😂

I really want us to win this. We've held the nerve even better than last season.

Does anyone else pay attention to White during our set pieces? White does a masterful job limiting the movement of the opponents goalkeeper. The impressive part is that he does it without fouling the goalie.

While that's smart and adds pressure to the opponents he should still be careful sndy calculative cause some referees won't allow him get off the hook though especially in European competitions.

The ref will only talk to him and that alone also is enough to dis-stabilise the opponent setup in set pieces

Havertz really played well yesterday . I never knew a day would come I will enjoy watching Havertz play .

He did all the right things in the match; his pass to Saka was well measured. That Saka goal is one of the reasons Arteta doesn't bench Saka even when he's steady playing rubbish . U can't write Saka off , he's a top player by all standards .

I believe very soon we will see top clubs hiring set-piece coaches like Arteta did at Arsenal. I read the story of how Arteta convinced Pep To hire a set-piece coach at city and it worked well. He brought same to arsenal and we've been finding ways to punish teams via set-piece goals when everywhere cast. Very soon , these new generation of coaches will invest heavily in set-piece coach . The way we defend and attack set-piece is crazy .

But that same rice penalty happened to us against villa
It wasn't given

Chelsea winning goal against villa was the same with Newcastle goal against us
Newcastle own was awarded Chelsea own wasn't

🎶60 million down the drain, Kai Harvertz scores again 🎶
Harvertz has really improved under Arteta, If I didn’t watch the Match, I would’ve doubted he gave a well tailored pass to Saka and Omo Ologo first touch was superb plus his goal😎

Partey will forever be a Midfield Maestro to Me, man has been impressive in matches he played for us this season, we really missed him in matches he was absent and I hope we get a replacement like him or better than him.

Owhhh My Ordegarrd 😎 and the rest of the players and crew, I’m so happy for the NLD win

I’m happy we kept Toothlessham in a tight corner, they will fight tooth and nail when shitty play them

White does not look to have any remarkable skills. He is all brain and calculations.

I once analysed our team strengths and said that White is a cerebral player. The way he positions himself and his timing is superb.

Even though Raya makes mistakes, he's better under pressure than Ramsdale.

Ramsdale is foolish sometimes.

He has better positioning
He carry gingering of fans on head pass Raya
The better saves gk btw the two
He is also good at weighed and precise passes

Just that errors por.

I can bet that the Liverpool game where Things took a turn after xhaka vs TAA, if na Raya dey post, that last 25mins pressure on our backline, Raya can't stop those kind of shots. E sure me. Raya is the calmer of the two sha. And better at PKs.

Gabriel won 100% of his ground duels against Spurs, while his centre-back partner, William Saliba won 100% of his aerial duels.

It’s the second time this season the pair have produced such stats. The other time? Away at Anfield.

The perfect pair for the big occasion. #arsenalfanaticsnews

I will say a resounding No!!

Yes, Raya have committed almost same error as Ramsdale but what Raya does that calms our defence down, Ramsdale doesn't do it. You might not notice it but it's 10x better than what Ramsdale brings(which is shot stopping and saves) and I'll explain.

Raya claims crosses that most GKs in top division hardly claim. A quality cross is only "quality" whenever an attacking player heads it goalwards.
Raya claims most crosses before an attacker connects with it thereby shutting down any potential goal that might happen from its source meanwhile Ramsdale who doesn't claims crosses as much as Raya will do what he does best — Save the goalbound header or shot.
But the issue is, how many good headers can a good goalkeeper save CONSISTENTLY?

Ask yourself, how many headed goals have we conceded this season when Raya have settled into the team(Post Luton) and how many corners or set pieces have we conceded (post Luton)?
I can only remember West ham (2nd goal) and Bayern (Kimmich). That's not to say our defence isn't good to but like I said, Those high claims crosses goes a long way in calming them down. The amount of goals Raya stops/prevents from its source is amazing and I'm certain that if Ramsdale was our GK when Tottenham put the 2nd goal, with the amount of quality crosses and pressure into the box that day, we would have conceded the 3rd and Arteta would be called bottler and Fraud all over again. Ramsdale would have made one or two saves, yeah, we would have clapped and said he tried, but we would still have conceded— Just as how we clapped for Ramsdale against Liverpool for his wonderful saves, yet still conceded to a late Firmino header.

There's a reason Raya is always aggressive with his positioning.

From now till eternity, Prevention is always better than Cure!!

Raya prevents and extinguish it from the source
Ramsdale mostly saves when the fire is hot

NB: Raya is also very very decent when it comes to Saves which is another bonus for us

Fulham own no pain me. We were poor against Fulham and they rightly deserves their win

The matches against Aston Villa (home and away naim pain me pass).
We were robbed in the first leg(the GJ penalty, our goal which was ruled out when it first hit Digne in his hand before Havertz abi Nketiah). Plus the numerous chances we missed (Odegaard, two good chances while Martinelli one big chance).
Na that match pain me pass.

Then the 2nd leg. I no wan even explain that one.

West ham own with another ojoro if I'm not mistaken (ball crossed out the line before they played it back in) plus we missed a lot of quality chances before conceding the 2nd goal.

But then, the quality of the league is high all thanks to guardiola. We need to be perfect to win the league. Imagine dropping only 5point second half of season yet we still dey cry grin
