I know this is none of your business. But do you remember that our friend of 1000 websites in how many days and nairalist clone?. His website is www.omavo.com. Please I need to reach him. I have exausted all my known ways to get to him. At this stage I am not assuming anything. I just want to give another benefit of the doubt. He and I have an unfinished business. I will post details here if within 3 days I still do not get any response. Thanks

I have been trying to reach him unsuccessfully as well for the past 1 week i think - tried all known means to contact him but to no avail.
But he finised the job i gave him to do (i want to call him to thank him - and the client was very happy too - and they wish to give him another job).

I am encouraged by this. Maybe he is sick or what. At least there should be some communique.

^^^But i had a communication problem rather similar to this at one point - where i panicked greatly.
It happens with developers - sometimes you might get overloaded with work and have to vanish for awhile to clear things up.
Or maybe a very big client you have done a work for before calls you that his site has been hacked and you must fix it now now!

It may be one of this, or something else. Because he is not owing me anything and he does not respond to my messages - so i
dont believe you have been scammed. Just give him some time, i am sure he will show up.

some 4 years ago,
i had about 12 client's jobs and a broken system!
My 'team mates' were more concentrated on taking the glory and credit of completed websites than perfecting their webdesign skills.
The office we used was owned by one of them, he had 6(slow) desktops and one new laptop and the other had a car(car they used for cruising).
They would prefer to play pro evolution with the laptop than release it to me to use to complete those websites.
Clients were growing impatient.
It doesnt bother them, afterall am the CEO and clients dont know them directly.
Only two clients knew my house.
Luckily The hospital gave me up as a fraud, the other brought two ekelebe to my house, so my mum had to vomit her salary to pay back.
I had charged very low for the websites so i could build a portfolio.
It was a harrowing experience.
After that day, i said a soldiers prayer. Walked accross the street, to the God-forsaken office and disolved the mur'fuckn company, pulled down all the sites hosted on the companies name, and destroyed all documents and agreements on that name.
Vowed to refund all clients.
It was the only time i questioned my calling.
2 months latter my true company was born, it was initially deliberately a one man riot. Today, we have served over 70 clients.
Till today there is a client of mine from those dark ages that i've not paid back her remaining 10k, bc i've lost contact.
She worked in ikeja and too many people are bearing her name on facebook.
This may be what is happening to this young man , omavo, he may not be a cheat, may be passing thru fire.

That was our last email communication. You can see the dates. Truth is that Cliff did not reply my emails nor sent me an email explaining his situation and why he wont be able to continue with the project he promised me would take him 14 days. So should anyone blame me here?

Anyway, I am still waiting for him as the last email stated

This i_want_to guy looks very suspicious.

I like to give everyone a benefit of doubt. We are all humans and certain things can go out of control. At this juncture I have not accused Cliff of anything, only I'm not happy that the project missed its timeline and I missed the deal with the company, yet all that happened without a single email from my friend, Cliff, explaining why and I was kept in the dark. Its over 10 days since our last email communication since he promised me a refund. I am still waiting for that.

I will keep you guys updated!
