Well, i think your code is better, mine, i just did it sharp sharp, merged and dumped everything together. But it is simple and easy to follow. I slack at proper commenting, anyway, i don try my own bit. I ave stopped coding C donkey years ago, but i still remember some of the rules.
But i must say that, being able to write this kinda code - even if you are going to copy and paste everything on internet as i did requires some fundamental knowlege of C otherwise you cant do nothing!

^^^That one na bread and butter programming if you ave worked with C before. I generally prefer to work with Arrays rather than structure though.
As i read omo_to_dun code my head wan scatter. I only learn C/C++ briefly then because i was eager to jump VC++ using the MFC stuff which i thought was an easy way out. . . .then

I just learnt c small in my 2nd year cos it was a course, and they didn't even treat it extensively, was practically swimming in coursework so just did it one kind,
@Omo_to_dun I dont like c because of pointers, I used to b of the opinion that it was pointless learning it since java and c++ dey but someone told me its essential for microprogramming,

Very true, it is a great programming habit. One i have not adopted correctly - because of people that steal codes. If someone for instance manages to steal the codes of .net - their head go first blow before them fit understand jack!

I knew omo_to_dun was going to solve the babe's problem from the start, i just wanted to motivate him a bit with that code. My code actually works - i did it with codeblocks, you know all these various c compilers get minor minor bugs atimes.

yeah it is. the only form of neatness anyone would see in any code I type is indentation.
