Pls Nairalanders,The date of of Birth on my waec certificate is not correct. Pls what should i do becos i dont want it to affect me during reg in my school.

Locate the nearest waec office, then apply for result ammendment. the requirement include the following: (1) application letter from ur sch principal( if it,s may/june or frm you if it is nov/dec (2) birth cert or age declaration (3) you must go with the original copy of ur cert ( the one with wrong date) it may cost the sum of 10,000 for ammendment, wish u the best.

@Tosin easier go do an afidavit of dat false age. Use it in ur registratn (ur age don change b dat o)

Please how long does it take for WAEC to help amend an error on WAEC certificate?

Pls i have a similar problem,but they made the mistake in my name.it was written as EZE, SHED CHUKWUEBUKA instead of EZE, SHEDRACK CHUKWUEBUKA.pls how do i go about it?

WAEC , WAEC GCE Results and Certificates mistakes on wrong Date of Birth ( DoB ) , change of Names , Year, Candidates wrong photo and Lost Certificate apply to be issued a new Waec original certificate hard copy.

Plz note : Waec mistakes on Results or Certificates can be corrected and rectify, Candidate will be issued another new Waec original Certificate hard copy.
