It's just wrong. Even when a relationship ends badly, there are lingering feelings and unresolved issues. Why cause bad blood between you, your friend, and other friends who may take sides. There are enough men in the world without having a man your friend has been with. And what happens when they remember the good times and want to try again? Then the friendship is ruined and the relationship is gone too.

I do not agree with it, though the heart wants what it wants. It would be hard for two people who like each other to stop their progress, but trouble is ahead.

Don't think it is a big deal. Depends on how the relationship ended. If it ended without bitterness or acrimony on both parts then no big deal. A good friend is getting married to my ex. The relationship between us ended amicably and I introduced them because I felt they were better suited. Life aint that difficult
