I need information on travel insurance for schegen countries ( Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Netherland,Slovakia, Czech republic,Austria etc ) It is compulsory for international traveller to take an health insurance as a requirement for the granting of visa at the embassy. I want to know how it is done and what is the financial cost. The intended travellers needs it for study visa and also tourist visa to the schegen countries of europe. Which company can do this travel insurance from Nigeria. Please educate me on all what you know on travel insurance or health insurance. thanks |

Thanks, I really want you to explain the information on this thread so that I can just read through. I just need the details because I am not ready to travel at this moment. for the travel insurance if i have a Spain visa do i need travel insurance with me when traveling or can i ask my agent to give me a copy off the travel insurance he use why applying for the visa for me or i have to get another travel insurance and which insurance company we be good for Spain ? and all so do i also need to book an hotel reservation even if i have a place to stay in Spain? please help me i need to know all that asap |

Hi v hv applied for Schengen visa and v hv been issued for a period of 4 days coz our insurance covered only for 4 days, but v would like to hv it for 90 days coz v r planning for other countries too after a few months.So should v appeal ? |

Ausaci: Hi v hv applied for Schengen visa and v hv been issued for a period of 4 days coz our insurance covered only for 4 days, but v would like to hv it for 90 days coz v r planning for other countries too after a few months.So should v appeal ? It wont work anymore and that might forfeit your visa,Travel insurance is very important and by the way why did you choose 4 days insurance?thats a lil bit tricky on them.. You could even get 3 months for like 15k. 1 Like |

Can I get my travel medical insurance from my destination country? I mean If I can be issued from a company in Russia while I am in Nigeria. |

I called the embassy and They told me It's Okay. I can get it also from my destination country. I was covered for a year with 750000 rubles. |

Any Travel Health Insurance you want to purchase for Schengen country make sure it value for € 30,000 and accepted by all Schengen countries. you can always get the AIICO travel insurance at no 42 lobito crescent wuse 2 Abuja beside the VFS global. and also in Lagos. make sure you ask for the receipt of the insurance purchased to avoid being cheated. you can also check the address of other acceptable insurance company through google. |
