hi guys.am really desperate and in need of help.i have been trying to loose weight for the past 3months without success sad.i have tried everything including cutting meat,eggs,food protions,exercised till i have started developing muscles naming a few.yet people keep asking me what am eating that am putting on more weight.
how long does take for weight lose to show or am i doing some thing wrong.

Doing right things bring results. Yourba has an adage that says, have the key and you'll open the door not with your size dear, cutting meat wont help it takes total elimination of meat products, fish, egg, milk.
Now you,ll say that does not bring balanced diet, dear look for protein in other nonfatty foods e.g legumes, beans, soyabeans, you can eat plenty portion of it.
Do you know that you can eat plenty protion of food and still loose weight now quote me not fat but food e.g whole grains , carbohydrates, friuts , veggies, eliminate oils for now go for cholestrol free, skimmed milk is better.
Walking is the best exercis, do it for 50mins,briskly u 'll get result shortly

thanks dear ajaofunke.really appreciate ur advise.however this is naija and i find that we are kind of restricted 2 certain food .could u help me with some recipes which combine wholegrains and carbonhydrates please.will try my best 2 do every other tin u said.thanks again

Seriously reduce or eliminate the sugars i.e. soft drinks, juice drinks. Our bodies stores excess sugars as fat. Water is a good substitute, If you want a fruit drink, buy the fruit instead,

Be patient, weight loss takes time, There is nothing wrong with a little muscle, those muscles you are building are needed to burn fat.

Eat protein, Remove the skin from the chicken or turkey, and you have saved yourself from unwanted fat,

Stay active, not only in the gym but at home and everywhere too. Take a walk with friends, walk instead of taking a car for short distances, listen to music and dance e.t.c

Don't starve yourself. Your body needs the food you eat for metabolism, when you do not eat your metabolism slows down and you do not burn anything. You just have to watch what you eat, Bake your meats instead frying, boiling instead of frying. Eat or snack on smaller healthier meals every 4 to 5 hours to keep your metabolism up,

like i said, whatever you believe is the result you get, we aren,t really restricted except our minds tells us so. Wholegrains include millet, wholewheat, corn,grind it into powder,you can make pap, amala with it or you may choose to just cook the grains, you may make soup with it. Its highly rich in fibre which aids digestion, no fat, and alternatively makes you stomach really full, and invariably makes it difficult for you to eat or snack in between meals. You want to slim down abi, i advise you forgo meat products, poultry etc for now, you can make soya meat instead, eat ponmo its got no nutritional value, this helps the fat you have accumulated burn so fast, coupled with your briskwalking, thats d best i can recommend,because have tried others, and it didnt work. Protein you can explore include beans, soyabeans,legumes, try eat more vegetables fruit any color you see, learn to forgo fruit juices, wine the are all sugar filled, stay away from sugar now, eat carbohydrates, e.g gari, yamflour, plantainflour, yam, potatto whether sweet, irish,pastas e.g spaghetti, indomie and its class, try this you,ll see.
Remember, Camille dont ever skip breakfast, it controls the diet of the day, make sure u eat your three meals, thats what i do and averagely i loose 3kg in a week which is 6.614pounds aprox, no gym can give me that result.

thanks guys for your very encouraging replys.Ajaofunke once again ur advise is much appreciated especially the recommended meals.i will try them hopefully they will give me the same results you have achieved because i found what you said amazing(3 kgs in a week) wow!!!.
ebumowa and uchetobi,i will try and exercise patience like you both advised but i tell you its really difficult when am looking at the mirror and not seeing the results i want.
then dear gbolio4,thank God you haven,t achieved the weight gain plan because i can assure you its much easier to gain than loose.
will keep you guys posted on my progress.
