Yes. But Amass is at least a year away from being a proper regular starter in the first team. Guy is still young but he's got so much talent and potential. He's one of the best players in the U18s right now. Doesn't have bad games even if the whole team is playing badly.

Buying a new young LB might derail his route to the first team. We should be getting an experienced player in bis prime instead and not splurge on a young unproven LB.

The young lads (if we get the second one) can play second fiddle to the experienced guy and take over in one or two years.

I'm not sure we've ever had this much attention on any kid, maybe Greenwood..Even rivals are all hooked, worse is, his talent is too obvious..

I hope the club gets their disciplinary team on him steadily..Mainoo guarantees us a world class midfielder for at least a decade if he's properly looked out for by the club..

So sad what Dan Gore (academy player on loan) is passing through. He’s only featured in one game and has been injured all through. His coach just said he doesn’t expect him to play again till the end of the season.

Considering that he got first team chance along with Kobbie Mainoo and displayed promising potential in the number 6 role, this is a quite sad.

I think something is amiss though. According to what I read, it’s not as if his injury is serious or something. Utd should recall him so he can recuperate properly at Carrington.

You have to admit that your team is toxic currently and media scrutiny can damage. Look at the number of promising young players who have lost their way since. From Januzaj to Greewood. How many players have in the last 20yrs grown from your academy to superstardom that you can say thy are matching their promise?

lol so cos of this they should loan him out ? And take like 80 to 90 to buy another midfielder right ? You mentioned Greenwood, he was his own enemy. I mention musiala you divert to Alaba , Kroos and Muller 😂 The only thing they can do to kobbie is to protect him. Them for loan out garnacho too cos of media and for januzaj United did not have anything to do with his development later on if he’s special he would have done it where he went to.

Let's even ignore the fact Ten Hag's the one for the job. Where do you expect to find the right manager?

This is one of those times there's no upcoming manager that really stands out apart from maybe Alonso. And he's never coming to United.

And there's no underground scouting that can be done. There's literally no one doing wonders anywhere.

I still think Nagelsmann is the best candidate available, and names like Amorim, Inzaghi, Luis Enrique are still better than the Potter or Southgate rumours.

I am hoping those rumours are only because Ashworth previously worked with them.

Lol Naglesmann is tied to Germany. Amorim has shown nothing to even deserve the link to United. And doesn't he play with a back 3? Enrique is not leaving PSG. And Inzaghi lol?

Nagelsmann's contract ends this year after the Euros. Enrique can leave PSG. He is not French and has no emotional links to the club.
Amorim and Inzaghi are not my preferred choices, but those links are better than Potter and Southgate is what i said.
