pslm23: I need advice and guidance. My nephew is 10months old and unfortunately his parents (my brother and his wife)have found themselves unable to provide for him so they've asked me to adopt him so he can at least have a better life here in the States with me.
How do i go about doing this? Do i contact the US Embassy or do they have to do that themselves? I don't even know where to begin with this adoption process. Can anyone here with the knowledge or experience in International adoption guide me please.

p.s. i hold both Nigeria and US citizenship!
