You may have noticed that power supply reduced greatly in the last few days, leading to a terrific experience for industrial users, commercial consumers and residents alike.

It was due to a major snag reported at the Kainji dam.

The media featured certain news today of how youths in Enugu have began staging protest against power outage which has lasted four months >> http://saharareporters.com/news-page/protest-over-four-month-power-outage-grounds-enugu-nan

The development in link above may have motivated youths and organizations in other parts of the Country to begin mobilizing for another #OccupyNigeria rally against power outage.

Today however, hope may surface as it is reported that the snag at kainji dam has been resolved and power supply estimated at 233MW is restored.

"The Kainji dam Power Station is back on stream and delivering power to the national grid from its four available units that were shut down three days ago" -ChannelsTV reports.

Let's know what power supply has been like in your area in the last few days and what improvement you have noticed after this report of energy restoration courtesy kainjy return.

No difference whatsoever, usual darkness where most of the time our light bulbs serve as mere decorations, except of course for those of us who can afford generators.

Its interesting, however, to note how a problem at Kainji is causing protests in (Enugu)the South. Isn't it ironic that while many of our industries in the North have been perpetually starved of electricity and therefore forced to close down; some people down South are already shouting because of only 3 days disruption to their obviously disproportionate favourable allocation.

Great news, power supply in my area has been real bad and the weather isn't helping at all.

But if ℓ̊ may ask, how come a meagre 240 mw threw the country into darkness, ђã†̥ will happen if we lose 1000mw?
