They over painted one's are worst.
Only one girl that i saw so far that had make up that complimented her skin, very dark black in complesion but skin that just glowed. She was not to fine. But she worked on the things that made her seem unique hair clothes and eye.

You know this came up in a conversation recently which lead me to constitute a self imposed ban on make up and high heels if I go to razmataz nightclubs or events.

Women are objectified to the extent that every attempt made on the body or image is automatically assumed intent for attracting male attention. This might be true for some women but is't not for all and I don't understand how men can now translate that into an opportunity to abuse or harass women that show no interest in them.

Women (and men) also make physical modifications generally deemed unattractive? What do you translate that to? (piercings in unattractive places, nose rings, expletive tattoos, extreme dress sense, bleaching the hell out of their skin). What is the explanation for that?

If I wear make up, short skirts, show cleavage what not it's because I like it on myself and like looking good for myself. I don't need my choices misconstrued by people that have nothing to do with me.

I may like to watch them from a distance...or better in a glossy magazine cover, but not to be close to me or my heart! Most ladies don't need makeup, a nice cream & maybe powder is just fine, but the media world has changed entirely the perception today ladies have about beauty!

Make-Up : simply means trying to be that which u're not! Its due to lack of self-confidence that makes our ladies not to trust their natural beauty embedded in them. Personaly i hate make-ups cuz it shows that u're masquerading ur real self.

Exactly, the thing is we've come from a time where women have had to try hard to compete for men. Times have advanced to a situation where we now compete for jobs, education, social status etc. Being attractive solely for the purpose of attracting men is long gone. If anything you now have to appeal to women to gain favor (workplace, classroom, social activities) since they are the ones opening doors.

Typical ekiti man (if i'm allowed to say it) no make up (pancake) no extensions/attachment, no relaxing (yoyo),no high heels (gbenga), no big earrings (yerri)

I don't think those men like anything self, my dad refused to pay for any of the above, funny funny man.

ladies with no make up and they look beautiful... personally i admire them alot than those fake ladies.
