House,

Kindly educate those of us with limited experience with used cars what a seller means when he says a car is either naija used or registered.

Thanks.

Well for Naija used cars, 90% of the time the suspensions and alignment are gone with engine or cooling problems while the other 10% depends on who (status oooo - CEO, multiple car owner) used it, where the person lives and works and all such not. If you know the details of the car use, you can go for one. I was lucky in 2007 when I bought a toyota avensis from a friend. The friend bought the car new and had an official car with driver he used for his daily runs. If you get an opportunity like this, please go for it, otherwise thread carefully or you might be buying junk.

LIKE CARS, WE ALSO HAVE REGISTERED AND USED BABES WHICH ARE LIKE 99.5% OF BABES IN NAIJA. THEY COME WITH PLENTY PROBLEMS TOO (NIGERIAN USED N ALL).
TOKUNBO BABES ARE BETTER NOT TOO RELIANT HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN, CHEAPER TO MAINTAIN COS OF THEIR INDEPENDENCE BUT CAN BE FUSSY CANT RIDE ON ALL ROADS ETC.
TEAR LEDA BABES. A RARITY THESE DAYS. BUT YOU ARE CONFIDENT THAT U WERE THE 1ST MAN IN THERE. MAY DEVELOP FAULTS (DEPENDS ON THE MODEL AND MAKE) wink

Well it depends on which type of Nigerian used car, you can have one bought brand new in Nigeria and used for a while then sold or a Tokunbo car that has been used for a while then sold. I bought a Nigerian used car recently and it was a 2010 car bough and registered in 2011, It is almost brand new and am enjoying every bit of it.

It simply means the car has been registered with naija plate number and it has been driven on naija road. registered or naija used are same!same!

for your information, there are some cars that are not registered and have rocked Nigerian roads like mad.
Some people will use Local government or state government plate number and will use the car for like a year or more. Then register it or even sell as toks to unsuspecting buyers.
