I bought the etisalat GaGa smartphone on the 9th of December and I have to say.....for a budget, single core processing, 256mb RAMing, 512mb memory phone....the phone is one kick ass phone. unlocked it 3 months ago when I was done with the etisalat package and started using it with other lines. The phone has helped me a lot with my business. Its very sleek, with a nice UI and above average performance. with my harem of apps, I hardly drop it. ping with blackberry and iPhone users via LiveProfile, download music via last mp3, browse cheaply through Opera Mini, watch HD movies with Mizuu, read novels through aldiko, read comics through comic rack, e.t.c.....the list is endless. The only thing left is to root it which I'm still trying to figure out. eventually when I get the HTC One X, I doubt I'll sell this phone. It's been a wonderful device and like a virgin, it introduced me for the first time to the orgasmic world of android.

download the dc unlocker software. search online and download. after installing, put your phone in system mode by first switching off, then switch on and immediately hold down the power key, volume key and home key. when it freezes, plug into your computer and the software will identify it as Huawei U8150. the phone is actially U8180 but they use the same build. use your gtb MasterCard to buy credits on the software and unlock. it isn't free but its very cheap. did it myself and it worked. good luck bro.

about 3000-4000 Naira should be sufficient. I had 5000 on mine when I did and some was still left. just don't remember how much. Go to the site you downloaded dc-unlocker from and go to the purchase section and click new user, buy credits and you're good to go.

I'm well aware of that. If you understood me correctly, i was merely praising the efforts of Huawei. They exceeded my expectations and brought something worth it's salt.

I held the three buttons for about 20 seconds and it only kept vibrating but did not freeze. Please How long do I have to hold them and how/what will the phone look like after it freezes?

Pls, do you need to instal any Hauwei drivers b4 using the dc crap or u just use the dc crap alone?
