As long as you're able to lead your drunken cohorts on the right path, no problem.

Need I remind you, we don't even have a relationship, if at all, it's more like master/slave. Where I'm your master, you're my slave. wink wink wink

The borders of Nigeria were determined by the colonials.

Strictly speaking, these al qaeda issues actually belong in Chad and Niger and the borders would have been drawn to reflect the religious/cultural divide except for French/British rivalry. But since the borders are as they are, there's not too much point complaining to outsiders after the fact. Just letting you know for the record.

The people you're arguing with aren't Northerners, who are the source of these issues, but people from the south who feel that they're just better than you, the same way you might think you're just better than a Somalian.

My point is, Barbadians aren't inherently better than Ghanaians or Nigerians or something. But they're much better off than you for other reasons entirely.

did they steal the money ? is it not their hard work ?

why envy, lazy dullard !

Have you not noticed that the two countries in Africa, Nigeria and Kenya, whose citizens have this attitude are amongst the worst countries in terms of progress and development? You cannot see anything wrong with it because of your ignorance. You even think I am against it because of envy. Typical Nigerian mentality. In your foolishness, you didn't even notice am a Nigerian. My brother, it is called materialism and money worship. It is the foundation for corruption. It is destroying the country. The average Ibo boy cannot go back home for Christmas now except he has serious money to show off. The average Yoruba man who earns 500k per annum will borrow 1.2million to throw a party. This is creating tremendious pressure in our society and causing us to remain stagnant. Wake up bro!

Yes the Hausa Fulani have been trading with Ghanaians in gold and Kola nuts for 700 years prior to the groups from the south even realizing Ghana existed. Just because today there are Boko Haram terrorist there does not mean the area has always been bad... In fact during the time of Islamic empire those in the North where doing well in the Trans-Saharan trade of goods. Look it up!

lol @ this

There was no place called Ghana 700 years ago.

The Hausas are everywhere and they've been trading with others before they had ever heard of anyone in modern Ghana.

Why should anyone in the south have cared whether Ghana existed anyway?

Wait a minute. Actually, the Oyos knew the Asante existed, and they had them (Asante) scared of Oyo at one point according to oyinbo visitors. Smh.

here is a little history.

The gold and Kola nut is Ghana and Ivory Coast. The Ivory Wood and Slaves is Nigeria and Cameroon. This was largely the history of the region prior to European interference.

Thought you were trying to make sense till the last paragraph. what do you mean by Ghana's export to Nigeria is massive? exports like what? I know Obasanjo arbitrarily banned the importation of some goods from Ghana and the ban is still in place. But I really want to know about this so-called 'massive' Ghanaian export to Nigeria. It also nonsensical to even suggest 'Ghana schools are practically running on nigerian cash.' that is an incredibly dumb thing to say because it is the kinda falsehood peddled solely by nigerians to massage their ego. So why don't you tell your people to withdraw their children from schools in Ghana so our educational system will collpse, huh? utter crap!

Different societies have their pros and cons. If you don't know that, you shouldn't be posting on this forum. That is what I practically tried to lay out in my post. The Burger snack and Alomo bitters are examples of exports coming from Ghana into Nigeria and it is massive. Alomo bitter has become one of the most popular alcoholic drinks in Nigeria.

Also, thousands of Nigerians are paying mega dollars in Ghanian schools and that is a fact. the argument is not that Ghanian schools will crash if Nigerians leave. Rather it is the fact that the mega dollars Nigerians are paying is adding to the growth of the Ghanian economy and thatcannot be denied.

It's actually a fact. After the battle of Atakpame, visitors to Asante were informed about this.

And on the Fulani, your own people are complaining about the Fulanis in Ghana and you're here kissing their butts when they didn't even ask you to. Smh.
Re: Ghanaian Government Closes Nigerian Businesses In Accra. by london2lasgidi(m): 1:13am On Jul 07, 2012
Sometime in 1764, the Ashanti army marched out to invade the Dahomey. The exact size of neither force is known. What historians are sure of is that the Ashanti army was ambushed in or near Atakpamé in what is now Togo. A force of Dahomean infantry, including the kingdom's elite Ahosi corps of female soldiers, as well as levies from the Oyo Empire, inflicted a crushing defeat on the Ashanti army. During the battle, the Juabenhene (head of the royal clan of Oyoko) was killed. The Ashanti army never reached Dahomey and was forced to retreat.

News reached European merchants trading with the Yoruba that Oyo had inflicted a severe defeat on the Ashanti. The consequences were far reaching in that the unpopular asantethene was removed and replaced by the more youthful Osei Kwadwo. There were less documented confrontations between Ashanti and Dahomey in the early 19th century, but peace was the norm between them. This particular battle did, however, define the boundary between Asanteman and Oyo which remained the powerful states in the region.
