“It is a very big business sponsored by very rich Nigerians. We load more than 10 tankers before we relocate to another spot for fear that law enforcement agents might trace us. I do not know how they got wind of this deal because we normally have a very strong security arrangement,” he said. So this sort of oil theft goes on outside the Niger Delta? Imagine the guy saying they fill like 10 tankers before going off to vandalise pipelines at other locations! Corruption and theft flows in the veins of Nigerians. Just terrible! |

On how they dispose of the product, Nasiru said, “All I do is to deliver the product to the petrol station that I am directed to. My tanker has Total written on it; therefore no one would suspect that the product is stolen. I do not know how much these products are sold, my duty is to deliver and get paid.” --Shakes head-- |

Ojosaac: Naija is embarrasing. Just look at those idiots. I swear, nigeria can't change. No be curse. We can change, nothing is unchangeable. Only if the youth rise up n ssay enough is enough, start their own political party coz u cannot effect change going tru pdp n d rest, n exhibit zero tolerance to our mirage existence. How long r we going to complain for and expect change to come without actually taking our battered destinies into our hands. They say the youths r the future? Av been hearing this since dem born me, bt dese folks will never let us in, save we come gunz blazing tru d front door. Easier said than done right? But collectively it can be done! Rise up youths. |
