Yes some people stayed more than a month maybe as a result of something else came up, can be health ground that they now seek medical attention to, that can also be a reason. Because you can't predict, you might go over and say it's 1month you want to spend, but peradventure you need medical attention can lead to you staying up to 3months.
So people can have their reason for staying more than a month, if you have proof especially if it's health ground. but no matter what, don't stay above their maximum stay of 6months, Staying within the limit of 180 days is not an immigration offense. You will not have problem reentering. But staying more than that it's an immigration offense and it becomes an issue.

staying for 5 months is not a problem if you can afford it and give valid reason of that stay especially on health ground, my opinion.. Like I said this will only come to play during your next UK application for renewal will be difficult.
But if your visa is still valid for that 2yrs and you only spend 3 or 5months out of it before coming back home to me it's not bad, you can still re-enter UK again as long you have reason to explain your staying at that duration

justwise:

Yes you maybe aware of people who stayed longer than one month but do you know if they stated that in their visa application?

Anyway good luck with whatever decision you are going to make.

Big man I just sign up under you ,
do I still have to make 3 different transactions using Revolut to get qualify for their £50 bonus. Big bross please break it down to a lay man like me. Looking forward to read from you.
Cheers Bross...

Revolut is giving out £50 Referral bonus for referrals in the next 3 weeks. The person has to order a card for £4 and do 3 transactions of minimum £5 each. I usually share the referral bonus I get sonthe £25 will cover all you spend.

Whether you use my code or not, Revolut bas been my most reliable Bank for transactional purposes. The features I love most are the speed of International transfers (I can send money to US or Canada or most Countries and recipients get it same day) and their disposable virtual card for security.

Revolut has been doing these bonuses in past 4 months. Unfortunately, it has been reducing monthly from £500 down to £50 now.

Wow that’s not right, that’s too quick. Usually they would let you finish your sentence before the process starts.

The fact that they gave him 4.5 years seems all calculated, so that he can qualify for deportation. Maybe he can fight it after he completes his sentence?

They can’t deport his wife and children. Even if they try her solicitors and support group would fight and win the case for her and her children.

With him it might be difficult to fight it though, maybe the whole “A right to family life?”

But then he should have thought of that when he was bailed and told not to post and then he was rearrested for doing so.

By the time he finishes his sentence, at the point of release..... HMP would be handing him over to UKBA officials, at the gate (in handcuffs)........ wink

I wouldn’t be shocked. My ex-wife works as a probation officer with London probation, always in court for this sort of things, mostly prisoner from Belmarsh prison.

Had to go to detention camp to see foreign born British citizen who fighting against deportation.

Apart from medical reasons what other reason do you have to stay 6months or 180days on holiday even if you are self employed? When you applied for the visa did you present budget of 6months stay?

Even the rich and famous doesn't go on holiday for 5-6months. Yes grandmothers/pensioners can visit their grandkids and stay more than one month and still get the visa renewed but for a working age adult is highly suspicious and i don't know any sort of excuse that could adequately explained that length of holiday

Always expect depreciation in value of properties located in areas with deteriorating and escalating level of antisocial behaviour.
Better hands off from such property.

please i heard that age factors also affects buying house in the UK. Does age factor affects pls? like if someone is 45 -50, can the person buy a house?

Then someone that have a permanent job and been paid £1600 every month, and keep saving £1000 every month for two years to have £20,000 down payment, can that person be able to buy a house with that kind of salary? Must my salary be bigger than £1600?

Thank you for your response.

Yes, you can get a mortgage at that age. Just that the term of the mortgage might be shorter - 15 to 20years. You can get a mortgage on that salary and any salary (even minimum wage);as long as you meet the lender's affordability criteria.

See the link below for further information on how affordability is determined for mortgage purposes:

Yes some areas are like that.... Best to stay away from such area . Also if the house now needs modernisation or renovation then you can see this kind of fall as well

The location of the property is good, very very close to the train station just 2-4 minutes walk. Although there’s a canal between the blocks of flat and the train station

If the value is dropping it’s worth investigating very closely.

Might be issues with the cladding... make sure to check that it isn't the outdated/non fireproof cladding type... I don't recall what the right term is again...but persons with properties built with that type are selling off below value.
