Try and avoid such groups, the more you react, the more they increase the flames, it can become insane, i don't have time for such, i better learn electronics, or learn something new, that i can do with my hands.

We just have to learn to forgive and treat everyone well.

Favor99:

Both groups are guilty, but one side(their side) is much worse.

Africans are not the first group to trade slaves. Slavery and the trading of slaves has been going on since the beginning of human history.

Africans didn’t know how brutal slavery was like in America, as it was like no other type of slavery.

Plus slave trade doesn’t give an excuse to persecute another group 500 years later. Because they always give excuses and lies why the persecute Nigerians. Their favorite one is “it’s the white man.” It’s always the white man’s fault.

I'm not talking about other kinds of slavery, I'm talking about chatell slavery that is relevant to AAs.

If you want to give excuses, will you allow white people to give theirs too?

This is where the problem begins, I thought everyone, at least every nigerian in the , everyone in the United States are straighforward, honest. To my greatest surprise, Some nigerians are genetically wired pto be evil-minded, irrational and dishonest. For my House-hunt, I used Facebook market place because that it were i can get cheap and affordable room to rent, and i can also see the person that i am dealing with as well.
After a long search, I was able to get a place for 700$ per month which was quite on the high side but that was the cheapest in that zone. The person renting out the place was a female Nigerian in her late fourties. Upon checking out the room, I felt the palce was worth the price so I agreeed to take the place. The rental, Mrs Rita seemed calm when we met and she explained that she only wnats to rent out the room to a Nigerian because she felt she would be more comfortable living with nigerians. I told her that I want to take she place, and she said I need to pay a security deposit (which is usually the same amount as the monthly rent), which would serve as a sort of assurance/seal the deal.

For instance, some may be having a bad time, and are just looking for where to express this depression, and if you chat with them on social media, on such topics, they already have their preconception, just like us, they are not there to listen, but to make a point. If you have time, then you can argue and they just get emotional and then perhaps block you, this helps in empowering them temporarily, but you may have a genuine concern, and all you used your time for, was increasing your blood pressure.

Its like a viscous cycle.

If you were not there to make a point, but to understand their motivation and where they are coming from, you will see that they want reparations, they want a country of their own in Africa, or a land to call own, so it means they want to have a place in Africa also, perhaps in the east or North.

I think reparation is realistic and is very reasonable to some extent to recognize the inhumanity they endured, if i were in their shoes, i would want the same, i do not concern myself with whether they are hardworking or lazy. Just from historic perspective they deserve apology from US also.

For the other demand about a land in Africa to call their own, i don't know if that is possible, i think they had a chance with Liberia, and I think the country seems to be okay now, because my impression about a Liberian, is that they are humble and have humanity in them, and very smart also. But where else can they get land in Africa, i don't know everywhere is occupied

We all know rudeness is no excuse. The woman is devious. As soon as OP got rude, she jumped on it. That will now be her defense.

Nothing like that. The tenancy laws that are non-sentimental plus Its illegal for her to collect security deposit and refuse to rent the house. If the authorities know she will be severely sanctioned and still rent out that house to him or refund his complete money.

Ok true true. But still doesn’t give them the right to be pooing on us and dragging us in the mud in the their quest for reperations and land in Africa.

If we had sensible leaders and a unified populace, nobody would dare disrespect us like this.

But you have been bringing up some great points.

Contact the police and explain the situation. They will likely say it's a civil matter that has to go to court, but in some locales it may be seen as theft by deception. Police is "mostly" your friend in the United States, so you have nothing to fear.

Unfortunately, we dont have leaders right now, but rulers. So they will poo on us, as they like, it gives them temporary satisfaction, and to be sincere, i am not bothered or moved by such, I really hope they work on their attitudes, because it could make so much difference and help them very much, they are in a unique position to do a lot of amazing things for themselves, i wish them the best.

What if they could channel that energy to helping themselves out, they will do wonders, they seem not to know their power, just like us. although recently people begin to realize they even had power grin grin grin grin.

We lamented about our leaders, and within a short time i was amazed about the unity of the youths. We seem to lack awareness of our strength. I think i need to educate myself too.

What we need is unity. When Oyinbo and other races poo on Nigerians, often times some Nigerians will be defending the other race.

The disrespect and injustice from Black Americans is so glaring for all to see. How can you be defending them against your own comrades even when they’re clearly in the wrong?

Other races even when their comrades are clearly wrong, will still defend them. Us even when we are right, our own won’t defend us. It’s why Chinese and Indians mistreat us in Nigeria, because they can get away with it and our people don’t care about our own justice
Re: My Nasty Experience With Nigerian In New Jersey by SeriouslySense(m): 11:32pm On Apr 01, 2023
When you say Unity, what brings unity, if not common goals, or genuine interest in building up each other and understanding each other.

Without the basics, unity remains elusive.

I always observe this hurried quest for unity, in face of danger or maybe certain challenges, although the people dont even understand themselves, how can iron cling with clay.

It's super easy, the deed has already been done. Just report her, if she's staying at an apartment, just go to the apartment office and report that she rented out a room to you because it's illegal to rent out a space you are renting to another person. I bet you she will be kicked out too.

You messed by getting rude to her. Now she'll cling onto that and use it as an excuse to not refund your deposit.

If there's a way to leave a review do that.

Edit. Here's the logic behind my comment:

Have you ever watched crime documentaries before? Even detectives know not to get rude to rape and murder suspects at the start.
In interviews they ease them into it. And they eventually snitch and implicate themselves. They pretend to be their friend and make them comfortable to open up.

Same concept here. Same concept with kidnappers and their victims. Complementing and pretending to befriend your attacker helps keep you alive.

Being rude to that thief of a landlady is understandable. But it's just gonna give her an avenue to refuse refunding him.

I know it's hard to understand because nigerians are easily led their instincts and emotions.

You are right...plain reversed psychology

i am surprised at most of you people. You act like what Sharon said was wrong. You people act like you are not familiar with Nigerians. Everything with Nigerians is a dance. A dance of agbari aka the wayo dance. You play very humble and meek hoping the thief can dig into their conscience to pity the simpleton mugu. In playing humble and nice and meek some scammers have found their conscience and returned the money. But if you just come out all aggressive the scammer will never pity you and will be happy to take your money and curse you on top as we saw with this case. In this case this guy failed the wayo dance. After she has returned your money is when you unleash your anger on her and curse her out. That's how you do it. Coming out beating your chest like a gorilla would make the scammer very happy that he scammed you .
It seems we read different stories, because if you are talking of same post, then go and read it again. Are you talking of a scammer that I know her place and can easily trace according to the post. The guy even has all the chats details which makes it easy to deal with the woman. Abeg talk another thing.

Sorry about your ugly experience with Naija woman. Try the best way u can to get your money.
Most people advising to get the police involved in a $100 case dont know how things work. Most police officers would tell you that this a civil case and they wont do much. Most wont pay you attention if it’s not up $500.
It also seems that you didnt sign any lease with that woman.?? Make sure you sign a lease with any landlord.

DIDNT YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR DAUGHTER INITIALLY

WHY DID SHE HAVE TO WAIT TILL THE VERY DAY I WAS GOING TO MOVE IN

How I was able to get a new place that very day was only GOD! The problem now is how to get my funds back and my other stuffs. After getting a new place, I texted her to send my money asap that I need it to pay for my new place since she no longer want to give out her place.

This evil woman still wanted to frustrate me, and didn't even want to refund my deposit

What are you still waiting for before you take her to Judge Judy?
