So, something happened to me for the first time after a 12 hour prayer charge with Lawrence Oyor mid last year.

At the closing of the prayer program, i started sensing this feeling of something resting on my head like a cool liquid. But when I touched my head i found my hair/head dry.

I thought it was the AC, so being befuddled, I asked my friends and neighbors if they felt any cool liquid sensation on their heads too, but they all said NO. This experience lasted for 4hrs that day.

Since then , I occasionally feel this cool liquid sensation , sometimes during prayer or before prayer .

Today, something happened. I came back from work this evening and It was already my prayer time but I didn't feel like praying.

I turned off the alarm so I could escape the reminder . Then instantly there was conflict in my soul and a great urge to pray . I could recognise that urge anyday, it's the feeling I get anytime when I try to resist the urge to fulfill my once addictive habbits .

Immediately, I started feeling the cool liquid being poured on my head again and it's been more than 4hours now and I still feel it as I'm typing .

I prayed, prophesied , and even penned down inspired teachings and knowings I never learnt from anyone or heard before. It was like I had access to someone else's mind and I was feeding off their intelligence. I would ask a question and also get feed backs instantly with more insights and instant knowings. The thoughts and knowings were not mine or concocted by me.


It was an amazing experience and I know there are still more abilities to explore in subsequent experiences. I still feel this sensation right now. And I know it's spiritual.

Are there folks who have had such or similar experience here ? Maybe burning sensations, or tingling sensations during any spiritual activity ... If yes, Would you be keen to share yours?

1. OP, none of what you described has to do with Scripture. Experiencing cold spots or hot flashes has nothing to do with the spiritual and more to do with mental issues since those sensations are recorded in your physical body.

2. The spirit of God is not of feeling or sensation but of consciousness and of power beyond your person. So, I have to suggest you visit a doctor the soonest to make sure what you are feeling aren't symptoms of something else.

Oh, I do, that is why I don't get involved much in politics these days. But back to the subject at hand. Please go get yourself a physical checkup and a mental one as soon as possible. That sensation you feel has absolutely nothing to do with the Spirit as explained by Jesus Christ.

I want to also presume something about your life recently, you hardly get annoyed. That's one benefit you get spending time with Christ. Also, I advice never to seek any physical signs from God, enjoy it while it last but physically-tangible signs don't last. So you might as well work in faith and not on sight regardless feeling or not.

You might not be aware of it but there is no mental or medical illness associated with going from thread to thread online as a way to while away time. However, having tingling feelings running up and down your back and body, is a possible symptom of something either going on mentally or physically, so you should not think this is to insult you but to help you avoid "had I knowns".

By the way, I don't know more than God. Rather I know that by using the understanding I have, He continually downloads new understanding to me, and that understanding is what I need to do the work He expects of me - Matthew 13 vs 10 - 13 & Matthew 25 vs 29 & Mark 4 vs 22 - 26. This is a win-win for me.

I've been activated to walk by faith and not by sight.

Honestly even when I was prophesying, the Lord mentioned something like that. The Lord spoke alot of things through me scripturally that I never even thought about for once.

Presidents, CEOs, new hires, submit to mental health checks before they take up a new position to at least make certain they are aware of whatever issues that may not have been given attention. As you age, you are equally advised to get regular mental and medical check-ups. So I am not certain why you feel only the insane need these checks.

Special anointing from whom? The God who made it clear that the anointing of the Old Covenant ended with John the Baptist about 2000 years ago, abi na another one?

I don't harbor the fears that you do regarding such things at all. Sitting in a therapy chair was an eye opener for me for all the time that I did and I am happy I did it too. Same with getting my medical check up..

For a while now, I've been itching to share same experience cos I've been having it, but I felt Nairaland is too full of trolls and many will dismiss it. An evidence is Kobojunkie, the spiritual police who mixes error with truth, and his ilk.
Infact I've tried to search for answers about that experience cos it was confusing, I havent gotten enough answers, but I've heard APOSTLE Osayi Arome made reference to it in one of his ministration cos I listen to him alot these days.

1. Sound like blowing of wind.....(even the unbeliever heard the sound in vs 6).... Kobojunkie would have said it was audio hallucination and unscriptural.

Well I will say, if they saw tongues of fire visually resting on their head, u can argue they will most probably have a sensational aspect on the head, which I feel u experience....And then we can be sure if someone who can see in the spirit were to view u, they may probably see the fire resting there. It's as simple.... cos the fire seen by the disciple were seen from spirit eyes.

I've been in a church gathering where I will feel this same feeling u u describe (infact my experience is even regular, though it took time to accept it as normal), then the prophet ministering will say he can see fire like anointing on the head of different people......(I will just be wondering in my spirit)

You should fast regularly so u can be more spiritually attuned. During fast, this sensation can rest on my head for the whole period....and when I enter church or Spiritually charger placed...it comes instantly and stays there all through

Occasionally it comes while on the road or while busy doing something unrelated.
These days, I feel the urge to fast, pray and read the scriptures than before.

The modern day pharosees are the false teacher and the false prophets who preach, just as the Pharisees before them did, doctrines and traditions that are no where to be found in scripture nor connect with any of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. I think it is more than obvious which one of us here falls under that flag.

2. If you read through the book of the prophets of Old.. you will find that all of the prophets experienced and expressed their emotions particularly through their many lamentations. From Moses to David, Elijah to Jeremiah... they all openly expressed their feelings. But not a single one of them experienced the crazy delusion which you pretend to be of the Spirit, not even the last of the Old Covenant Prophets, John the Baptist. Yes, God ended the Era of the Old Covenant type prophets with John the Baptist. Jesus Christ told you this when He revealed that John was the greatest of them all but lower than the least of those who are of the Kingdom of God..

In Jesus Christ, we are made to know that the Spirit is of power --- not of spine tingling feelings. He even gave us an example when He said that each person who is born of Spirit -- born-again--- is literally possessed by the Spirit of Eternal Life - John 3 vs 8 - and this possession by a power that swings one as He wills is eternal/24/7 forever --- a consciousness separate from the one you are born with and have no power over. Again, absolutely nothing like your temporary spine-tingling sensation.

You are not alone. I literally burn physically while reading the scriptures or listening to some preachers. The tingling sensations and many other physical signs happen too but I love the heat the most. I feel like it burns off rubbish from my life.

I can go on and on but Nairaland is not a good place for such talks.
