Everyone interpreting at his jijostic realm of rollercoastering madness until the metrics melts without distinctive alarm bells. These are strange times considering the impending strange, fat bellied guests of recapitalization forced to proceed to join the feast... grin

Yes, you will get dividend. Qualification date is 25th of April and closure date is 26th April.

My oga, are you saying that anyone that buys on that qualification date will receive dividend? Please does this T+3days of a thing apply to dividend of a thing?

Thank you
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 1:15pm On Apr 24
If you have the stock in your portfolio by close of trading on qualification day, you are qualified to receive dividends... grin

Just as @KarlTom mentioned. Check any corporate action of companies, you will notice this statement always "... Dividend will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on the qualification date". Emphasis is on close of business.

However, note that the closure date ie the date the stock is marked down for dividend/bonus happens before trade starts on that day

T+3 rule applies concerning settlement\payemnt during trade on the NGX.

They will still split ur 100k units. Lol

I have seen it b4. And it happened to me today with UNILEVER. Market movers move the price when they want to.

Ngx is a case of the more u look, the less u see.

The first day the Dangsugar news broke out, I saw an order of 90k, and 10k units. And I knew someone is attempting to crash price. But Whoever was in control of executing orders, spilt it. grin

If you doubt it, try it tomorrow.

I am still seeing another 5-10% loss tomorrow.
People will still rush out tomorrow because there is 70% possibility of oando going on technical suspension at this time the price is down if the wish of Wale is to delist grin grin grin

Better watch the trend well and trade cautiously.

So only one production line is working and yet they did not declare loss even when other brewers were declaring massive loss? grin grin grin grin grin Well for now, i don't care about production line. All i am waiting for in ChampBrew is answer to these 2 questions:

1. Are you declaring bonus or not? If YES, how much bonus?
2. For how much did Raysun sell their stake to Enjoycorp?

So much noise on a company that will still deliver 400% this year. All because of the release of an outdated (2022) result. Meanwhile, the company's future trajectories are very bright!

smiley smiley smileyOando reminds me of those days i used to invest or should i say gamble in HYIPs online using e-gold and LibertyReserve. HYIPs are High Yield Investment Programs that usually have a half-life of 7 days to 60 days. If you blink or loseguard, your money is gone grin grin grin
