But Nnamdi Kanu, the owner of the late dog named Jack didn’t take Buhari’s recovery and return calmly. He looked closely at the recuperated man and shook his head. He declared that the returnee was an impostor of the Buhari that died in London. He said his men of the Biafra Secret Service had reliable intelligence that a certain Jibrin from Sudan had been co opted to fill in for the dead Buhari.

Propaganda everywhere....

I am actually waiting to see their prove... Jibrin of South Sudan.

Oga, your logic and thought process are flawed...

The onus is on Buhari and his handlers to convincingly disprove a major credibility crisis dogging him on the eve of a general election...

Boris Yetsin was said to have faced a similar problem : He didn't wish it away but went to great lengths to establish his originality...

You can't claim you can't see the issues people are talking about concerning Buhari's sudden transmutation...

Address the issues, please...

Buhari is a mature and dignified President tasked with leading a Country with very difficult problems. Addressing frivolous and ludicrous claim will make him look unserious by default but you would not understand this because of blind hatred of the man.

It is like expecting Buhari to strip his wife naked in public because some demented folk say she is a man. When you get in the mud with a pig then people will not be able to differentiate pig or man as both are covered with mud.

Buhari is doing the right thing refraining from getting into the mud with demented Pigs. He will only look equally insane if he begins to dignify wild and demented claims put in the public by lunatics consumed with hate.

We Just Hope it's False.......

People are Quick to castigate which is their opinion..

I thought we would have a Critical look as this is a National issue..

Personally I do not Believe Mr. Kanu neither do I Believe the Government...

I Sincerely pray it's not true cos it's not a good one at all!

Nnamdi Kanu has a Valid point based on what I know... The Government should prove Kanu Wrong with Facts!
Let's have a Live media session with the President or something

I would be highly disappointed if Buhari brings himself to kanu's level of disproving anything, let Kanu give us proofs so that we can confirm ourselves, you can't tell me a friend I've always known to be good is a bad fellow without any proof.
Unfortunately for you people, Nnamdi Kanu does not have a presidential election to negotiate...

Need I tell you the quantum of damage this rumour is doing to Buhari's already hard-sale candidature?

Such a beautifully written article, I almost wished it would never end!

At first, I thought the Jubrin story was just one of the many things Buhari was being taunted with knowing that Nigerians have a penchant for insults but like the author writes, the sheer tenacity of the story is mind-boggling especially considering that it's also being peddled by clearly lettered people.

It's disturbing. Fake news could be disastrous. I recall that there was a time the military engaged in medical outreach in the southeast only for IPOB to announce that the government was planning to infect their kids with diseases. The allegation on its own is ludicrous but the saddest part was that majority of those who heard this ran to the schools of their children and wards to withdraw their kids and effectively sabotage a wonderful inititiative because of a news that was being spread on whatsapp. Why?! Why can't we abstain from hateful politics? There's nothing as effective in combatting ineptitude as truth.

Please, my people, truth is always a better option than dangerous, divisive lies. If you must tell lies, do endeavour to avoid those that'd make you look irredeemably daft by sane folks.

Only a useless idiotic zoo military will send pythons to slaughter igbos on monday n then on tuesday send military doctors to immunize their children without their parents consent n without the state government consent. Anyone also supporting the nigerian army suffers from massive brain damage

I love this jubril from Sudan so much.

You don't need to ask me why,.
Obasanjo from Nigeria sold Nigeria air way and didn't pay the staffs a dime same thing goes for nitel ,yardua of Nigeria didn't see anything wrong in not paying those people so also Jonathan of nigeria.but when jubril of Sudan comes,he start righting the wrongs done by Obasanjo, yardua, and Jonathan all of Nigeria.
I think we need more people from out side Nigeria to develop Nigeria.

The one big negative effect it would have on those who believes this nonsense just because Kanu said it is because in due time he would lose all his credibility. But whether the so called educated people would enroll in a information literacy class, only time would tell.

Majority of the literate class in Nigeria are actually uneducated including university graduates. Literacy is only the ability to read and write, it doesn't automatically amount to education.

I have met masters degree holders in Nigeria who can't think. Even their project/thesis was the intellectual property of someone else.

The very first basic element of education is the ability to think and ask "how and why" in every situation and it's rare amongst Nigerian graduates.

How is it possible to replace Buhari with a Sudanese and why?
