Amoda84: Thanks so much for your prompt response.pls how do I send in my toefl IBT scores to the University Admission Finland.I read some schools using some sorting code I don't really understand.can u pls expantiate please.I applied to the University of Tampere. Thanks

Each Uni has its own TOEFL code. That of UAF is 3138. You will make an order via your TOEFL ibt online profile. U can do it urself and pay with credit card or someone with credit card can do it on ur behalf. U r sending to UAF not Tampere.

Done.Thank you.I only hope it will be delivered before the deadline of Jan 31.Also,I'm hoping I can apply for another 2 masters course to boost my chance.is it possible my school here sent 2copies of my transcript together while I send also send 2 copies of my supporting docs together? D envelopes being marked with corresponding admission number. This is just to cut d cost of the courier(Fedex). Also,I believe I don't have to send another TOEFL score since it is UAF that uses it.Pls help shed more light. Thanks for your guide.God bless

Dont worry. The delivery doesnt take time. Mine took 5 days to get to UAF. And u r sending TOefl score to them only once. Am not sure if you can send 2 different application documents together. I think we need dahonnest's advice on this. And its not compulsory to use courier cos it might be too expensive. I also used courier like twice. It cost me around 15k for both. But av bin using NIPOST registered post since then. The document gets their within 7-10 working days and its less than 1k. Its very reliable. av used it thrice. Cheers!

Are there good jobs in Finland if you finish school and is it easy to get one? How is the standard of living there? Are the people warm to foreigners or lots of racists?

email the school for consideration if possible, this are one of the reasons why they always advice student to apply early for language skills exam. I doubt if a consideration will be given to you, because even after receiving it, what about the postal delay time?

dahonestboss...nice having you back on d tread,I asked this question a long time ago,but you were not available then.Got answers but I need a further clarification on it.Is it possible I send 2copies of my official transcript together to UAF for two seperate applications. Each envelope to be marked with corresponding admission number? This is in a bit to cut cost as my Uni makes use of this exorbitant courrier service. Each transcript will be enveloped seperately, addressed and marked with individual admission number. Also,I believe I just need to send 1toefl score regardless of how many applications I'm submitting.Looking forward to ur response.thanks

dahonestboss: Hello Mates

Just thought I might be of help to prospective Applicant who would like to apply for a MASTER degree programme in Finland. The application period will start in 1st of December 2012 to January 2013, And if you would like to apply and need genuine information, kindly post it here and I will get back to you.

Note that studying in Finland is entirely free, from the online application till when you are accepted and there are no tuition fee thereafter. Degrees from Finland are highly respected worldwide and they have some of the world best university that features in the top hundred universities every year e.g. university of helsinki, Aalto university, helsinki university of technology etc.

Many international organisation has rated Finnish educational system as the best in the world including WEF (world economic forum). Finland is also a Schengen country, which gives you an advantages to travel around Europe visa free.

I did everything myself when I was applying to come here recently, and it was successful, and I would like to share some info to genuine applicant who wish to apply in the upcoming application period.

you can visit www.universityadmissions.fi to get acquainted on how to apply and the school requirement on each courses, its very easy and straight forward.

For undergraduate student, I might not be able to help because Nigerian applicant would be invited to Finland instead of Ghana (of which you cant get a visa to come for exam, its written boldly on the Finnish embassy website in Abuja), but if you live in another schengen country, or has a passport with visa free to to the schengen states, then I might help, but familiarize yourself with the info on these page first

https://www.nairaland.com/577919/study-finland-september-tuition-free

Br, Honest.

@ dahonestboss I need your answer concerning this question
I already made my application, and i applied for 4 program ,2 program from each school..now my broda how do you expect me to send my order document.?

Does my school have to send 4 transcript each for every program, while send the other supportive document? each as well? Please i need your help so i wont make mistake

Thank you so much
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Amoda84(m): 9:28pm On Jan 10, 2013
@our9ja! From my little understanding of the UAF portal page,I think you're to send 4 sets of documentations for the 4programmes u applied for.You may have to tag each envelope with corresponding UAF numbers for easy sorting.dahonestboss will correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's how it works.

@omidan21...you will only start a new appliication as soon as you've completed the first application and converts to PDF.Each school with a seperate application. For example,if you're applying to university of Helsinki for MDP.Public Health, you open d application and completes the application form for the programme, convert to PDF and Print. If you wish to apply for a new programme, you'll click on New application and also complete the form. You can only apply for a new application as soon as you've completed the previous application. Also, you can make as many applications as you wish.I hope I answered your question.best of luck to us
