Thank you bro, how to get travel insurance for tourist visa

quote author=HRprof post=128758868]
I explained it there
One is for VFS to courier your application documents to embassy and return your passport back to VFS after embassy must have done processing your visa and the second fee is for VFS to courier your passport back to you after receiving from embassy
Good afternoon house. Please I need to confirm for my friend is in a very confused state. He is applied for french visa for his family (a wife and 3 children). Yesterday he got an email that they need to do documents verification for his all date of birth and marriage certificate and that each one cost is 250k. Please is this normal? Here is the screenshot of the content sent from email address: Visa.abuja-amba@diplomatie.houv.fr
Note: the email starts with capital V.

This is strange. Why would the account name for a federal parastatal or body be a personal account e.g Oba Olufon . That’s very suspicious. He shouldn’t send any money yet

I used my UK SIM in France and Germany, they worked perfectly LEBARA

Hello everyone, please for those that travelled to Paris for holidays, how did you get internet (not hotel WiFi) that you used for google maps and to get directions to where you were going?.. I’m going to Paris in May and from there to London. I have a UK sim but I don’t think it would work in Paris so I need something to communicate as I can’t always rely on public WiFi to use whatsapp and other social media while out of the hotel

Are you saying that he is currently with French visa as a researcher but want his family come with dependent visa? Is so I have no idea about authentication of documents for that type of visa.
Go to France student visa thread for enquiry . Tourist visa does not require authentication of any documents

However it seems you are new in nairaland, when replying comments begin your comment after the
you will see at the end of the persons comment

depend on the type of Visa

any the verification is charged by the legal representative of the Embassy

This information can not come from France Embassy, are you sure your friend is not using an Agent for his family application? even when you go to TLS they will only request for the original copies of your children birth certificate and marriage certificate for venting. I have not heard nor seen France Embassy requsting for payment directly. All payment goes through TLS. Also i just check the embassy official email address and this is what poo up ''abuja-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr.'' see another example of the embassy email address louis-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr.

This is very suspicious. The embassy email is GOUV, not HOUV.

It'll take nothing for you to search for the correct email or telephone number and contact the embassy directly.

Wat sort of fees/insurance, hope u did not pay anyone to make an application for you ?

Anyway from wat i can see from ur checklist , i observed that you are not married, and you have jst 200k in your account and no investment whatsoever in Nigeria such as Landed documents, properties etc.

The possible thinking of the ECO is that you may not return to Nigeria if issued a visa and the fact that you are unmarried, further fuels that thought.

Your age bracket and the type of job you do here in Nigeria and how much you earn, is important in the ECO arriving at their decision most times.

Your uncle making his account statement available to you, does not change a thing in your favour as the ECO will still require you to have adequate fund at your disposal for your upkeep; and enough savings at your disposal when you are to return to Nigeria which is difficult to prove with 200k.

I will only advise you suspend your journey for now, build your account to say 700k and apply then. Hopefully, this will change your circumstances since your first application.

And also take note, ensure consistency in the documents you will be submitting for your next application. They (ECO) will be looking for flaws to refuse you again if there's a noticeable difference in your application.

I hope this helps......?

Hello good evening please I can see that you have more ideals on this France issues, I have interest visiting France for 2wks I own a company I'm married with 3kids please what are the documents I need to submit
