I'm really not convinced about the government angle to your argument at all. It sorta smacks of laziness and an easy escape to absolve self of wrong doing and short comings. The government has never and should never be responsible for raising children. They are ment to facilitate an environment to foster growth most importantly education and the British government can definitely not be accused of not providing that. A lot of Nigerian once they arrive in the UK seem to lose all their senses and forget all about the morals instilled in them back home. Some of them cannot believe their luck at stricking gold in the UK where they do not have to pay for health care and can sit at home whilst doing nothing yet getting paid and are able to substitute what they get from the government with either an early morning job or some are so lazy that they engage in criminal activitie such as credit card fraud and you name it. Rather, what I would blame the UK state for is the creating an enabling environment for laziness through the welfare system. I strongly think the welfare system should be scrapped as clearly migrants are grossly abusing the system. But who am I to tell the British government to deprive its own indigenous people of welfare because my own people are abusing it, eh?

It is sad that the same Yoruba families that could sleep in churches every friday for Night vigil and now mosques are responsible for raising these devils. Something is grossly wrong in the Nigerian community in the Uk and they really ought to regroup and start doing some serious soul searching. Drop all that pretentious nonsense before they are stifled out of the UK. Believe me, it would happen. They are begining to constitute nuisance and this is only but the begining, I tell ya!

I would have loved to post a reply to this post but I'm lean right about now, and I can really type much(incoherent and typos lol).

However, you can't blame the parents solely for this. The government also failed this generation. The black community has also failed us. Most of kids grew up with thugs, oafs, gangsters, drug-dealers etc. as their role models. All the estates are ridden with different gangs. You can even go nowhere without being mugged - yet the government doesn't care. Kids grow up to join gangs for protection.

Also, they have closed all the youth centres in London...and most of these idle kids don't have nowhere to go.

Its been established that a Nigerian is one of d killers. So so sad. Must we be named at every barbaric act around d world.

you also need to be a citizen to claim benefits in the UK. the welfare system is not as easy as you are making it out to look. no illegal migrants or visa carrying migrants can claim.
