bestads: NO FEMALE HAS REPLIED THIS POST......What it means that more than 90% of the females here on nairaland are guilty of campus sextrade because of greed to have blackberry, iphone, samsung galaxy and be known as a big girl on campus...period

Why do i support this post? I already said the same girls we are talking about here are the ones viewing and commenting (or feeling frightened to comment) on this same thread.

I feel like whatever's on the second page doesn't receive much views so you might as well not bother posting your views. It's usually a waste of opinion since most people don't bother reading page 2.

@topic, the day customers stop patronising a seller, her market will close.

Na wetin I get to talk be that, I no fit waste talk on top second page

is this all u got to justify this "female trend "? ....smh

So imagine the economic loss from prohibiting such trade
.
Finally, a brother comment...
Exactly bros, a whole secondary market is nourished by this .. restaurants, gift stores, school fees etc etc

Honestly, Nigeria is a failed state. I'm not surprised to hear this. Even during Shagari's regime when Nigeria was better off economically I witnessed such in different campuses all over the country.

Even some of the girls their parents are well off also engage in sure nasty trade.

My advice, quit because is a sin and also your life is in danger.

Short story: There was a campus girl picked up by an Alhaji some years back. At his hotel room ( Alhaji ), after eaten the forbidding fruit together, the aboki left the lady on the bed and left.

When the cleaner came in she was shocked for what she saw, a big snake coming out from the female student's biological make-up. She went back to campus and not long after she fell sick and died.

sandijey: Don't even no who to blame. From the pastors to imams to the government and every authority. First why would anybody give birth to children u cannot cater for. Most of the time this children become vagabonds and a menace to the society. That's not to say the children of the rich are exempted. The fewer low lifers we have the better for us all

Many of these campus girls take care of their parents and siblings. There were many of them back then in school. They also live large but when u check their background, it's nothing to write home about. The rot in the government has made life difficult for an ordinary youth. I do not believe Nigerians are lazy. Given a better environment, we would reach great heights. No avenue for us to work and school and most of the time the money our parents give us cannot carry us for a month. You end up living like a pauper in school. Except u are contented and if u can manage. The list goes on and on. But we cannot scratch the surface wiv out digging deep. Parents should train their children well. If u can afford to get ur child a good phone do it so no man can deceive her that he can buy it. Give ur child money to shop sometimes so she doesn't feel left out among her pairs. All this are possible if each family manage the population of this country by weighing ur income and the amount of kids to have.

For the person that wrote girls should join church when they enter school. cheesy. Lmao. Sorry but the church cannot save a child that is not contented......

I disagree with u dat these girls are from poor homes. I can tell u confidently dat over 70% of girls who involve in "campus prostitution" are from average homes.

Na good girls suffer pass. Tsheeeeeeeew. Like I said earlier. Everything is wrong in this country. All the runs girls in my class have good jobs now. Many of them are married. Through this runs they were able to take care of themselves., use the best creams, wear the best clothes. Hangout in nice spots where they can meet bachelors, Isn't it obvious that they will attract guys quicker than the girl next door who relies on her dad just to even buy sanitary pad. Life is not fair. That story he gave is 1 in a million.

Perhaps the preponderance of failed marriages we now see in Nigeria is a result of their success.

While not condoning campus sex trade, I think the increasing harsh economic realities in the average Nigerian home fuel this unfortunate moral issue. It can largely be scaled down if the living standard of Nigerian families is significantly scaled up. Morality and poverty are strange bed fellows in our day. Let's deal with the root and the branches will be no real challenge.

This olosho, runs girl issue has actually killed the trust I have for women. I can hardly trust any woman am dating 100%. Sometimes I ask myself what if my fiance is one or was one?coz these girls have boyfriends and fiancee and their boyfriend's will never know. These politicians and wealthy old men are destroying d future these young women.

youngalex: Female Students that indulge in sex trade simply do it cos of GREED and TO BE SEEN AS CLASSY/POSH...Suprisingly some of them are from decent families with stable financial status..Is just peer pressure and lack of contentment...Most of these ladies continue the trade after skuul even as working class babes dating the CEOs of companies and Politicians...I just pity the Guys they will eventually lure into marriage cos such habit and lifestyle is very hard to stop

Valid points.

If men don't patronize these foolish girls, they'd be out of business and start thinking of something else. So the men are 50% responsible for prostitution.

Most of the ones I new in school then we're from abject poverty. In fact many of them sef, their parents dey village but u will never know. Today their in dubai, tomorrow London. The good ones among them rent a flat and put their family in the flat. Buy their father a car. Open small businesses for their mothers and other family members. So if a novice sees the girls family. He would think the family are average because to him the parents are doing business whereas the girl brought them to that level.

Not saying middle class people don't do it buy if u check their background. They got to middle class through this same runs.

hod898: I always tell girls, when you enter the university, join a good fellowship gathering, be prayerful and God will provide. Face the hard part now. The more devastating the storm, the sooner it will be over. I once knew a lady who came from a poor family. Very intelligent, diligent and God-fearing, she trusted God and never participated in all these 'I didn't have a choice' immoralities. She graduated with good grades and by God's grace, was employed in a company. She told me her starting salary was about N6000 per day (180,000) per month. During her school years she survived by using her brain. She tutored high school students, she had a choice. Today, she has a marriage proposal from a decent but wealthy man. It's not about the government but the way you govern your life.
Thanks Brother. Diligence & self confidence is the answer...

Actually, outside of a rape, a woman is responsible for any sex she has because she allows it to happen.

Unless you can prove that these girls are raped, they are to blame.

A female student that is supposed to be in school rents a flat for her family and buys a car for the father, and questions were not asked? That really says a lot. Maybe, poor guys should equally go into armed robbery and scamming, after all, hardwork doesn't pay anymore. Let us all look for the easy way out. I cry for Nigeria
