I knew the war between herdsmen and farmers would escalate the moment I started seeing the herdsmen opening Twitter and Facebook accounts.

They started learning how to trend hashtags while herding their cattle.......... now look at where it has led us to. angry

Is it a lie then?

Are Fulani herdsmen not on a covert Jihad in the middle belt and most southern States? Are they not plundering farms they didn't cultivate, which in most cases is the only source of livelihood for those poor villagers? Are they not raping and killing helpless women in their own farms?

Are they not all armed to the teeth, and no one arrests them for that? Has any arrest been made so far about the Agatu massacre? Not one single arrest!

This Dambazu is really an idiot. He is either living in pretense of all these, or he is an overt fool.

2019 is around the corner. You idiots better sit up to your job.

That is how Muslims all over the world behave generally.
Blame the media for "damaging" (read reporting) the image of their lovely religion while ignoring terrorists who commited those crimes in the name of their religion in the first place.
Blame the media for reportin news on herdsmen, ignore the herdsmen causing havoc. Typical of Muslioms. Mtcheeew.

If buhari wants to ban social media by fiat and he should just do so and stop beating around the bush. Whatever he see afterwards he should take!

Your children abroad are enjoying hi-speed internet and social media but you want to ban your baboons and dogs from using it in that cesspit.

Dan banza is saying Buhari's mind here!

What an irresponsible government.

Can you imagine that after loosing over 3000 Nigerians to the fulani herdsmen (mobile bokoharam), Buhari's govt first official response is to blame social media without any condemnation towards the herdsmen.

Buhari is just sooooo evil.

I really weep for this country. This will give everyone one an inkling of how insensitive, Callous and careless this Government is.

Social Media that was effectively deployed to oust the former government is now been blamed for escalating the murderous enterprise these barbarians called headsmen abi headsmen.
Well Mr Danbanza or whatever ur name is; Sorry to disappoint you,Social Media has come to stay and will also be used to roast your sorry Asses!

It's a pity but I think I see the reason we have a herdsman at the top; Zoo country! Is the social media hyping the grazing bill also or did they propose the bill in the first place.

Do these men think before issuing press statements or just talk to keep their office active?

NB: Before you quote me on the ZOO thing just remember we had a zoologist as past. .......

And now a "Cattle Rearer". Who do us this thing sef angry

Emmalez:
Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, today blamed the increasing rate in herdsmen and farmers clash in Nigeria, on conflicting reports on social media. Dambazzau said this while speaking during an inaugural meeting for stakeholders on the conflict in Abuja today April 14.

“The rise of the social media has given scope to the non-traditional media outlets which has seen interest groups frame stories surrounding the conflict in ways that tend to undermine the cooperate existence of Nigeria” he said.

He added that the crisis poses a threat to the unity of Nigeria and so must be addressed urgently.
