We students of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba (AAUA), hereby call on Nigerian students to come to our aid. Here is an update we recently receive concerning our recent protest which leads to strike:

All students are to proceed to any of the branches of the following banks to make payment for reparation fees of 25,000 only. Skye bank plc, First bank, Access bank, Stanbic IBTC, Wema bank, Zenith and Heritage bank.
Student are to log into the portal - http://eportal.aaua.edu.ng/frontend and click on "Reparation Fee" with their registration/matric no and the confirmation order number obtained from the bank.
Students are expected to print their reparation acknowledgement slip upon successful payment. Note that this slip, along with the sworn affidavit will be needed for clearance at the student's faculty.
Students are to note that payment for reparation fees commence immediately while student's clearance begins on Monday, 16th May, 2016.

Adekunle Ajasin university Akungba-Akoko recently sent an update that a reparations fee of #25000 should be paid over the protest that occurred in the school Last Month. it should be noted that the school has about 15000+ student which will roughly amount to about #375000000. it should be noted that the reparations to be made is not up to 70million. the salient question is now, How does School comes about this outrageous amount ? this is a school in a state where the civil servants are owned 5month salaries. How does the school management expects the parent and Guardian of these Wards to pay ? We sincerely appeal to the School management to reduce the said sum to affordable amount. Education is meant to reduce crime and alleviate poverty not the reverse please Mod kindly move it to the FP thank you

so called school management only showed concerns about the money to be paid ignoring the lost live and a way to put a stop to further lives to be lost....i will be so disappointed if any student still visit the so called "plenty but rubbish food canteen" cos she is part of dis ridiculous reparation fee...this same set of people judging other politicians of being corrupt..#25,000 for what nau...I pity the future of this Nation. corruption is jst growing too fast.

Considering the damages done to the school and Akungba community, its is an act of injustice to deserve such a huge penalty. We the entire student of AAUA cry out to the necessary body, which includes NASS and government officials to pls come to our aid
The country economic is nothing to write about, with over 27states owing more than 4month salary,how on earth do we get such an amount which is equal to our school fee payment.
