The fraud i see here is that banks set a limit for interbank withdrawals @ 20k ....so that they can charge u 65naira each time when u want to withdraw large amounts u will b forced to make multiple withdrawals...den they start charging u each time after ur third withdrawal......but the process is suppose to restart again .....that is 65naira on every 3rd interbank withdrawal.... Meaning 130 naira on every 6 withdrawal..but they charge u continuously after d 3rd interbank withdrawal......

why not then withdraw at your bank where it is free.

It's easy for everyone to scream that the N65 charge be removed..Does anyone know the over head cost of running ATM's??...

If the money isn't removed after three withdrawals as instructed by CBN, I believe this is where the case is...

Are these Vampires to be trusted? No, becos they make noise for Odinary Nigerians, as we are called by these Thieves, we think they are fighting for Ordinary Nigerians, but in the real scence they are fighting for themselves. Greedy thieves, they want to harass banks to part with billions for them to share. Do we remember the increase in PHCN tariff, what they did do? Nothing, maybe others are billed differently, i am billed 21.30 per rate from 13. The thieves are fighting for their pockets. The Budget Padders.

3 withdrawals and the 4th one they charge N65.

Na lie. I did withdrawal just once with diamond bank atm on another ATM(bank withheldz) I was charged for that first withdrawal.

The only thing I was able to do that day was only to shout: Chineke mu ehhh!!! and bank smiled home with that.

So investigate this matter,I have the alert in case.

I knew from the day Emefiele was appointed the Governor of CBN that Nigeria banking community has entered one chance. The reason being that when Emir Sanusi was the Governor, he cancelled all deductions by the banks regarding ATM charges. However, when Emefiele came, the first thing he did was the re introduction of ATM charges. That is an Igbo man for you. He can take money from live wire/high tension wire. Reps, please be alive to your responsibility and reverse the ugly trend.

And what would the bank use to service and maintain the ATM machine tongue

So you think the banks don't make or have other sources of making money besides the 65 Naira? What about those monthly charges, COT charges, etc.
Re: Reps To Investigate ATM Charges By Banks- Punch by lharwee: 1:25pm On Oct 07, 2016
The CBN policy states that after your first three transactions on another bank's ATM terminal, you will be charged N65 when using another bank's terminal. If you use your bank's ATM terminal, you will not be charged. If you use Access Bank Debit card on an Access Bank's ATM terminal and you are charged, you need to contact them and complain.

Well you are correct in a way sha. But we should be mindful that the banks are profit making organisations and must not suffer in order not for people to loss more jobs!!! smiley
