There was a time it could have happened to one of my group members in Agric..As penultimate students,while we were almost through with the day's practical work,we carved out time for ourselves to rest..Then,there came a very notorious lecturer who derives pleasure in intimidating students.He began to complain and insulting us,then he said ''All of you should kneel down,instantly, we started discharging but one of us couldn't.. The lecturer had to concentrate on the lady that didn't run..It was when she almost started weeping that she was allowed to go.It can happen anywhere; some lecturers are recalcitrant.

I've avoided this man, Ogunkule like a plague right from 200L to final year. He is fond of failing students, no matter the efforts you put to excel in his course he is still likely to fail you. 90% of his class always record below average of D and F, particularly his biogeography class. Many students who are in final year will have extra year because I know over 30 students who carried over the course thrice.

This sadist and the likes are what is giving the school a bad name.

he is not as bad as that, if you failed his course , you failed it. the guy that posted this rubbish on nairaland probably have issues with him.

This story is absurd and is a disgrace to the Geography department and Unilag as a whole.
I'm a student of the dept and I have been taught by this lecturer and I can boldly say the punishment was obviously a JOKE.
I don't understand why a student would want to destroy the reputation of not just his department and the lecturer, but also the reputation of the students in the pix.
Mr Ogunkunle might not be the best in terms of Lecturer- Student relationship,but I know it hasn't gotten as far as him punishing students on a serious note.

My dear when a powerful lecturer who can make you fail by setting a very serious hard question in Exam ask you to kneel down my dear just to it. It will not remove or tarnish your dignity but when you play strong head that's were the problem lies. Then you are inviting the devil for a feast.

U r wrong. Dey wld punish again & again & again bt in different ways & forms. You wld keep taking it again & again & again because it wld hv bcom a habit 4 u. Continue to form swagger and social media activist. The people that came early for the class have two heads abi. When dem dey try make una lives better, una go dey form swagger... few years after graduating with 3rd class or 2.2 una go come NL dey create topics like " is there any hope for 3rd class graduates", "why is it so hard to get a job with a 2.2 result? ..make una continue to dey dey form swag and social media noise makers. Una eyes go soon clear.

Zeekeyboy, ogunkunle is NOT a lazy lecturer and dats how he does just to make the class lively...his class {Gry101,GRY 201 etc} is always lively....l guess dat Room GO5,he does not tollerate u coming late to his class,he is discipline and u will like him later once u understand his nature.
