I nid sum1 to xpantiate on what Direct entry,predegree and diploma are all bou cos i'm only familiar wit utme(jamb). I nid oda options of gettn admission into d university oda dan jamb(utme) . How do i go abt them? When re they available for schools like unilag,lasu,uniport,futo,unn? What re d procedures? What re d requirements?

You can hang on and take a foundation program in some universities.
I dont think it require Jamb.
Enroll in a Private poly n use your last year Jamb to enter. Do an ND(2yrs) or HND(4yrs). Etc

Diploma is a 2year program. At the end you will obtain an OND which can be used to apply for direct entry into 200l.

Diploma depending on d skool,is a programme whereby u are admitted witout jamb for 2 yrs in a university or in a polytechnic bt u hv 2 sit 4 a polyjamb or in a college of education,d certificate obtained 4rm dat is called OND cert,if u proceed further after d 2yr stil in d diploma,u wil acquire HND certificate. Direct entry is a situation whereby u wil now startin seekin 4 admission in d university wit either d OND or HND acquired in d diploma programme or 4rm d polytechnic to get a degree certificate. Predegree is a programme in certain skools 4 abt 9 to 10 months witout jamb to get admission into 1st yr in a university. Some skools call it pre science programme

Yeah its compusory 4 any pre degree candidate in nigerian university as from 2009/2010 session t0 sit 4 u.t.m.e. Ask any other person in sch they will tell u. Schools like UNAD,OAU,UI,KOGI STATE UNI,UNIABJ,JOS,YOLA e.t.c are doing this programme

@classifyd, alot of schools have admitted candidates in2 thier predegree programmes 4 2009/2010 session. But maybe u can try adekunle ajasin university akungba,ondo state if thier form is still on sale.
