This issue of TSA is having a negative effect on education. When universities had a little bit of autonomy, they were better funded. TSA would have been good if the federal government is ready to fund education. Imagine the total budget for education in Nigeria! I pray our government realises the importance of health and education soon.

TSA has it's very catastrophic implications.
In 2017, A regional manager of one of the Transmission Stations (Power sector) complained bitterly that due to TSA, emergencies can't be rectified because there's no ready fund. Accessing monthly maintenance funds will at the earliest be received in a month after notification.

Busbars, Reactors and and Substations that require emergent maintenance are pending till they get approval due to TSA. No idling funds...we are trying to kill corruption but we are in the process killing ourselves.

That's one of the reasons where the more Fashola is shouting, nigeria gets darker.

Stop challenging people who are harmed with facts, more knowledgeable and competent than you with your perception. Competence of grads you saw can be a result of extra personal input.
why the outburst and did I challenge any one on the issue at hand, I only pointed out my surprise with the development since I happen to be an alumnus of the college of health sciences. A number of my colleagues work there as consultants, so I wonder why this happened, and for your information I entered ife in 1994, so that should give you an idea of where I'm coning form and by the way correct word is armed nor harmed

Thank you sir. TSA has caused more harm as a result of government underfunding of federal universities. Common broken chairs can't be repaired till approval comes from Abuja. The worst part is that approval doesn't automatically come with fund, it takes another round of meetings for the money itself to show. The unnecessary bureaucratic bottlenecks, coupled with corruption at the top has made nonsense of whatever good the TSA was set out to achieve.

Exactly. If after the meetings, the emergency is not seen as emergent enough the approval is not given immediately. The sad part according to the manager is that the urgency would be decided by persons in a conference room full of chilled with A.C...while the engineers that are on the field will sometimes have to improvise with crude parts with no integrity which may fail exposing them to unsafe conditions.

TSA has not stopped stealing and corruption, it has only created new thieves and given new powers to some folks to steal on bigger scale.

You obviously came out with very poor grades hence your life was negatively impacted since you are a dull tool.

Go and salvage what is left of you than disparage two great courses.

Young man, you don't know me. If you do, then you won't spill trash.
Did you study any of the two courses?

I came out second best in my department with a GPA of 4.

And yes, I have a job with one of the big 4 auditing firms.

Still I maintain it. Those courses are useless.

What have I used all the classifications, entomology, physiology and parasitology for?

I haven't seen any job opening that requests for graduates of Zoology or Botany. None.

Lol no course is nonsense, only that you would find it difficult to practice those courses in Nigeria. There are many graduates that studied those courses that are doing well though not in their field.

But you are contradicting yourself na. If I study zoology and work in a bank or in an accounting firm. Is d Zoology not useless?
