The 2007 and 2011 videos of Buharis debate are still on YouTube... None of the PDP candidates showed up on both occassion, yet they won

In which country do you see the vice presidential aspirants doing the debate instead of the presidential aspirants themselves.... Channels knows that no matter how hard they try jubril/buhari will never attend if it is made a presidential debate because....
1. The nan can barely speak English properly.

Fellow Nigerians the truth is the FG wants us to make do with VP debate, because Buhari will never,i repeat,he'll never show up for any debate, he didnt agree to show up in 2015 when he had everything to prove, even when Gej told him he'll be allowed to speak in fulani if English language was his problem, talk more of now that he is in power.
Where in the world do they do VP debate? Why should VPs debate? are they the ones that call the shots in the government? Why go for the photocopy when you have the original? This is what this government have reduced us to
God bless you, whoever you are.... You literally spoke my mind, when ever in history all around the world do you hear that it's the v.p. candidates that Do the debates...

What will be the impact of this debate on the average Nigerian voter?!.. By that 7pm, millions will be without power supply and many more will be in the house of Some party officials collecting 5k, 10k or 50k in exchange for their PVC's... Most would have recieved fone calls during the day that the power company has disconnected their supply due to outstanding debts.. Most will still be trekking home because they want to save that Transport fare to buy their kids breakfast in the morning... Some will be detained by hospitals mgt for not being able to settle their bills... Many will be in betting houses trying to 'cut' a 'living'... Many more will be on transit going to meet that 'man' that promised to change their story after a one night stand... Many will be wrongfully detained by the police..etc.. Many will still be in traffic gridlock.. Many will hear the voices of their loved ones for the first time after days of going missing due to activities of kidnappers as a result of insecurity.. Many will be on the fone with customer Representatives of cable tv for a problem that has linger for days... May God guide us las las to elect the right people after all said and done
Some will be in one corner knacking cool

Start a program of weight lifting at the gym. Strong people are mentally tough people. As you age, you need not lose your physical nor your mental strength. 75 year-old men are running marathons, 80 year-old women have scaled mountains and 90 year-old grandparents are living rich, productive lives. Whether you are 19 or 93, stay fit, stay motivated and stay passionate about life.

Funny how Igbos have been swayed by the Atiku/Obi slot and losing focus on their initial clamor for Biafra or referendum. Everyone is unduly optimistic of Atikus victory at the polls. No one is looking at it from other dimensions. No one remembers the power of an incumbent president

So what happens if Atiku doesn't win? The Igbos will fall back to their Biafran cause? Isn't that laughable?

Buhari is core military man adorned in the cloak of a civilian.. he still has that military inclinations, Buhari is a despot he might use brute to remain on the saddle.. same shit played out a few months back in Osun when PDP won and it was overturned.. till date, no one said a damn thing

Should Igbos heed Nnamdi Kanu's stance on voters apathy in the east and stand our ground for Biafra or referendum? Or should we keep our fingers crossed and root for Atiku/Obi...
Igbos are seemingly enmeshed in this political indecision

Can Inc be trusted? Will our votes count?

What happened in Osun is a pointer that our Inc is compromised

There should be a "pact" for power to be rotated cos even if Buhari rigs the election and holds on to power neither Hausas nor Yorubas would protest cos it's still favorable to them

Sometimes I feel Igbos are destined to be politically irrelevant

what gives thee hope PMB will rig the election and what makes you think Atiku will win the coming presidential electionor u think the election will be conducted in SE alone? bro! u need to wake up cos PMB will still win one or two states in SE

There's a reason why people wrongly assume that no sitting president has ever been involved in a presidential debate. It's because of the following controversies:

1) 1999: There was an election debate in 1999 and I watched both sessions of the debate. Atiku Abubakar debated Umaru Shinkafi in the vice presidential debate, but Olusegun Obasanjo failed to show up for the presidential debate.

2) 2003: The NEDG and BON organised the debate in 2003 and all candidates attended. However, President Obasanjo's ex-wife, Major Moji Obasanjo was one of the presidential candidates and she had spent most of her campaign attacking and insulting her ex-husband. People wanted to see the fireworks that would fly when both candidates met on stage. However, the NEDG announced that there would be two sessions of the debate because there were too many candidates and the candidates would be grouped in alphabetical order. The result was that all other candidates debated in the first session while Obasanjo was the only candidate in the second session.

3) 2011: There was a new television station called NN24. It was a news channel on DSTV and it was not a member of BON. It held its own presidential debate and Buhari (CPC), Shekarau (ANPP) and Ribadu (ACN) were present at its debate. However, President Jonathan said that he did not recognise the NN24 debate. He said that there was already an official organisation that organises debates and so there was no need for another debate. So he boycotted the debate. Consequently, the ANPP, ACN and CPC boycotted the BON debate and President Jonathan was the only presidential candidate that was involved in the BON debate.

4) 2015: President Jonathan attended the BON debate, where he debated against the candidates of the National Conscience Party (NCP), the United Democratic Party (UDP), KOWA Party and the United Peoples Party (UPP). However, Muhammadu Buhari of the APC boycotted the debate.

If Buhari will not honour presidential debate tactically Osinbajo should not honour this. This plan of having the VP debating is to make sure Buhari appears himself to debate in the presidential debate. Once Osinbajo appears he can't appear in proxy for Buhari.
Sense no go kill me.
And what's important about the debate?

Election is never won by debate.

Buhari might lose in debate but not in an election.

His good works will speak for him.

Debate or not Buhari is wining 2019 election and he will win BIG.
