Please move this thread to the tribalist section. I think it's also time to start suspending or banning the known bigots. Nairaland is becoming an eyesore because of these people. The subject of the thread is more political than tribalist, even though, as usual, it degenerated into ethnic bashing. The thread starter brought up some things, even if mischievously, which can be sanely debated. I will not because of that move it to Teribalism section. Thanks. |

Jarus, so all you have to do to get away with bigotry is start a thread with a political title? Listen, Nairaland needs to be sanitized of ethnic bigots and ignoring bigoted posts because the title is political will not cut it. This is a serious matter. There is nothing more off putting than ethnic jingoist that come to this website to rile people up. If you can't move the entire thread, then delete individual posts or ban the offenders. Drastic action really is needed. I'm on other Nigerian forums and until there was a severe crackdown on bigots, those forums knew no peace. |

Why can't I post Phillip Emeagwali's rebuttal from The Nigerian Village Square on Nairaland? Is that a violation of the rules?  I tried to start a thread of this clarification and it was deleted. I tried to post it 3 times today on related threads and they were deleted too. Funny enough, I can still see my log in name as the last poster, but no post. What is going on?  Before I make any further comments on this issue, I would like to read from the moderators of the Politics section. Thanks. |

It's spambot at work, simple. It attacks at times long, copy and paste posts, moreso when repeated. If you continue to try posting it, it will auto-ban you. If you read this thread from beginning, you would have seen similar complaints. Your own is even fair, at least it hasn't banned you. I have also been a victim. So nobody cares about any Philip Emeagwali. In any case, I will link the thread to the Admin and Supermod to restore it and make it visible. |
