@justwise, can you please help out with this....Not really sure about this ,but I believed gurus in the house can help.
Her status in the uk is live to remain and she’s willing to apply for a spouse visa for me,is that doable house considering her status?

I suggest you keep pace with your initial application.
If you reduce your expense for the fact that your wife is now working is likely to be mis-represented for irresponsibility and desperation.
Maintain same story, try and fix issues that came up on your last application properly.
My candid opinion.

Thanks a lot

you can ... just show proof of your spouse’s input into the household expenses or even times where she transferred funds to you. You can highlight this as her contribution to the family’s upkeep whilst providing her bank statement and yours

Seeyat:
Hello everyone,

In my last application i stated that my monthly expenses is #80,000 from monthly salary of #200k now it's gone down to #47k as my wife is working and supportive. No kids yet

Will my new monthly expenses make sense to ECO in my next application?

Abeg make una enlighten me biko.

Thanks as always

If you intend travelling to uk in December, 2019... you should only apply 3 months before that is in September 2019... anything earlier than 3 months before intended travel date is not acceptable

seyisanya:
Hello gurus in the house. I am a Nigerian but live and work in El Salvador. Unfortunately, I am in a country where the UK embassy does not issue visa but I will be in Nigeria next week so I intend to get my biometric done in Nigeria. I have visited Spain(twice), Italy, USA, Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico(twice), Colombia(twice). And I currently have a valid Schengen visa issued by the German consulate here. '

I intend travelling to the UK in December 2019 but not sure if I can apply for a 2-year visa as a first time UK visa applicant.

Thanks as I look forward to your response.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by kaakaa(f): 7:49pm On Jun 19, 2019
So I was refused the visa.... I don’t understand there second reason, help me explain.... travel history is US 3 times, china twice, traveling alone, have my husband n kids here, how do I pose a flight risk with a 1 year old at home.... am tired of this visa officers....
Am a business woman but didn’t write that bc I can’t back it up with monthly pay to myself and tax clearance, hence I just wrote unemployed.

I think the VO meant that the money doesn't correlate with your family's financial status considering you stated you were unemployed and the large deposit of money seen in the statement you submitted.

Oh my...
sorry....
They didn’t say you are a flight risk... they are wondering about the origin of the funds in your sponsor’s account... moreso they say the deposits are huge and you didn’t explain the source..
They also doubt that the money is truly available for you to travel for 15 days

Secondly, they are also worried at you also spending 1056gbp for holiday.... whilst considering your unemployed status. They feel it is a lot of money considering your family’s finances

Was your sponsor your spouse?? They prefer that.

Sorrrrrrrrry.
Reduce your travel days... Add your school results, school fees receipts, school bills and introduction letter to show the visa officer you can not abandon your education to go and stay in the uk... prove to them that you are more ambitious than that..

Attach your mother’s bank statement and/or have her transfer the amount you stated she is contributing to the trip and highlight it in both your statement and that of your mum to show the ECO..

Also 1700 gbp for visit is a lot of money especially for someone been sponsored.. about 820k ... why would ypu want to spend that on a trip when you are not earning.
Then you made so many deposits according to this visa officer, that is always a red flag. They identify it as money lodgement and deny you outrightly as they feel the money in your account is not truly available..

It’s my Hubbys statement of account and yes there are deposits but it comes in and goes as he uses it for his business,,,, it’s not lodged or fixed.... closing balance wasn’t even up to 2 million, but money flows in and out the account well...

one major reason is you not proving financial evidence of sponsor. how can you forget the most important document? secondly, since you stated that you have no source of income, it will be wise to show how you managed to get the money in ur account. in december, a guy (also a student) posted here that he got his visa without showing his own statement (as he declared he had no income) but showed his sponsors financial backing. may not work for everyone but according to him it did work for him. and yea, I think 20days is a lot as a student. you need to sure commitment to school, you can not be out of school for too long if you are a serious student. 10- 14 days should be fine.

this is what I think

so next time I will not make the mistake d huge fund is from my mum I should hav support it with her statement of account too. D sponsor invite her mum and dad Recent she run out of cash that, why she can't send d statement of account. Thanks u sir for u reply
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 9:13pm On Jun 19, 2019
It’s his statement but did you show how this money that comes in and goes out is made?

Did you show an employment letter or a business certificate with appropriate documentation to show how this money is made?

His statement of account is not enough with frequent money deposits here and there... prove the origin of funds and you would get your visa..

You have travel history with countries that have almost same immigration structure with the uk and thats a plus..

if there are receipts, invoices, sales or whatever to tally with this money for his business then show documentation to prove it..

The visa officer wants to verify that truly it is palpable money and not fallacy deposits and withdrawals to secure a visa.

Just clear their doubts on origin of funds and reduce your holiday duration to 6-7 days..

Your application was not straightforward enough to be concluded in 15 business days.. you would have to wait for them to conclude whatever it is they are doing...
