Ambiguity In The Qur'anic Story Of David And Saul by nossycheek(f): 2:53pm On May 15, 2007
The Quran mistakenly blends the stories of Saul and Gideon. The Quran says that the Prophet Samuel made Saul (whom the Quran names "Talut" due to his height) the king of Israel and in his days David killed Jalut (Goliath) in a fight (see 1 Samuel 15;17). The Quran then combines Saul with the Biblical account of Gideon's army in which the army was tested by drinking from the river when they were preparing to fight the Midianites (see Judges 7:1-cool. Therefore, the Quran mistakenly presents Talut (Saul) as Gideon and the war with the Philistines as the war with the Midianites even though the events occurred many years apart.

AL-BAQARA:247-251
247 And their prophet said to them: Surely Allah has raised Talut to be a king over you. They said: How can he hold kingship over us while we have a greater right to kingship than he, and he has not been granted an abundance of wealth? He said: Surely Allah has chosen him in preference to you, and He has increased him abundantly in knowledge and physique, and Allah grants His kingdom to whom He pleases, and Allah is Amplegiving, Knowing. 248 And the prophet said to them: Surely the sign of His kingdom is, that there shall come to you the chest in which there is tranquillity from your Lord and residue of the relics of what the children of Musa and the children of Haroun have left, the angels bearing it; most surely there is a sign in this for those who believe. 249 So when Talut departed with the forces, he said: Surely Allah will try you with a river; whoever then drinks from it, he is not of me, and whoever does not taste of it, he is surely of me, except he who takes with his hand as much of it as fills the hand; but with the exception of a few of them they drank from it. So when he had crossed it, he and those who believed with him, they said: We have today no power against Jalut and his forces. Those who were sure that they would meet their Lord said: How often has a small party vanquished a numerous host by Allah's permission, and Allah is with the patient. 250 And when they went out against Jalut and his forces they said: Our Lord, pour down upon us patience, and make our steps firm and assist us against the unbelieving people. 251 So they put them to flight by Allah's permission. And Dawood slew Jalut, and Allah gave him kingdom and wisdom, and taught him of what He pleased. And were it not for Allah's repelling some men with others, the earth would certainly be in a state of disorder; but Allah is Gracious to the creatures.

This is a confirmation of the qur'an being copied from Biblical stories since their torah and injl etc are claimed to be lost. This they do not well enough as one continues to see gaps in qur'anic stories which sometimes lack concord and coherence. Or what could be attributed to such mix ups?

What you don't know is that the Qur'an had come to fulfill the prophesy of Jesus (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him).

Read John 16:12-14; "I (Jesus) still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come. He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify me, for He will take of what is mine and declare it to you".

Was Muhammad a spirit ?

Did Muhammad know the apostles ?

Did Muhammad speak of his own or not ?

The Spirit came in the time of the apostles :

Acts 2:1-4 KJV
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
[3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
[4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

A'isha, the mother of the believers, said that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was called to lead the funeral prayer of a child of the Ansar. I said:

Allah's Messenger, there is happiness for this child who is a bird from the birds of Paradise for it committed no sin nor has he reached the age when one can commit sin. He said: 'A'isha, per adventure, it may be otherwise, because God created for Paradise those who are fit for it while they were yet in their father's loins and created for Hell those who are to go to Hell. He created them for Hell while they were yet in their father's loins.

Why would a good God create someone for hell without sin or not ?

Matthew 19:14 KJV
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 18:2-4 KJV
And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
[3] And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
[4] Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Tell me why your god would want innocent children to go to hell ?

Everyone will bear his or her own burden alone. Allah has sent prophet and warners at intervals including the Quran to warn humans that he is one God and has no partners we humans made our choices.
The bolded above shows there is a certain age one can reach before one can commit sin so Allah didn't plan hell for innocent children but only the defiantly disobedient people...

Allah SWT said:

"And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings and warners. So whoever believes and reforms - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve."
(QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 48)

"But those who deny Our verses - the punishment will touch them for their defiant disobedience."

Let me ask you this is the Holy Spirit 'God' or 'an Angel'?
Re: Ambiguity In The Qur'anic Story Of David And Saul by haekymbahd(m): 5:20pm On Jan 17, 2021
@enilove Christians even stooped so low to call angel (holy spirit) God ... God the father, God the son, God the Holy spirit

Isaiah 63:9-12
9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
10 But they rebelled, and vexed his [b]holy Spirit: [/b]therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name? -

Exodus 23:20-23

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off. -
Remember, only the holy spirit will not forgive when angered. We can clearly see that the holy spirit is indeed an angel.

Before Allah can punish anyone then a warning must have come. Yes Allah still forgave him and made him a prophet. What more should he do.

Allah is still better than the God of the original sin who didn't forgive until he sent Jesus...

"Say, Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah, confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 97)

*Via Qur'an English http://quran-en.com

No Christian would call an angel Holy Spirit .
It is not only the Holy Spirit who does not forgive sins . Just as you read above , it says the ANGEL .

There is an instance where the angel did not forgive :

Luke 1:18-20 KJV
And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
[19] And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
[20] And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.

Did that make Gabriel the Holy Spirit ? No .
Two things can have related attributes but does not akways make them the same.
Because birds flies does not make angels to be birds .

Allah SWT said:

"So We said, O Adam, indeed this is an enemy to you and to your wife. Then let him not remove you from Paradise so you would suffer."
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 117)
"Then Satan whispered to him; he said, O Adam, shall I direct you to the tree of eternity and possession that will not deteriorate?"
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 120)
"And Adam and his wife ate of it, and their private parts became apparent to them, and they began to fasten over themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And Adam disobeyed his Lord and erred."
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 121)
"Then his Lord chose him and turned to him in forgiveness and guided [him]."
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 122)
"[Allah] said, Descend from Paradise - all, [your descendants] being enemies to one another. And if there should come to you guidance from Me - then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter]."
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 123)

Before Allah can punish anyone then a warning must have come. Yes Allah still forgave him and made him a prophet. What more should he do.

Allah is still better than the God of the original sin who didn't forgive until he sent Jesus...

Who made Adam to eat the fruit , Satan or Allah?

what is difference between an Angel and Holy Spirit in this verse

Isaiah 63:9-12
9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them

Let me give you this scenerio Let say you vision where you were told not to marry the lady you love so much and went ahead and defy Gods word and warning and she ended up ruining you.

How did God know the lady won't be Good for you?

Is he to blame for your ruin since is warning was not heeded to?

Allah can see the future so he knows what Satan will do that's why he warned him it could be avoided?

At least you are a Christian and you believe for anything to happen in the physical realm it must have occurred in the spiritual realm... If Allah had know what will 40yrs from now it is part of his ability. If it was his intention for it to happen then he wouldn't warned Adam.

Whose holy Spirit was vexed ?
That is God's holy Spirit. .

The verse above did not say ' vexed the holy Spirit '. , it's says his holy spirit . ''HIS'' is a possessive word . It belongs to God.

Biblically , holy Spirit is different from an angel.

Psalm 51:11 KJV
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Does this mean take not your angel from me ?

When we talk of destiny , we mean power that controls what happens in the future.

Allah was the one that destined Adam to disobey . That is what the hadith is saying.

Destiny means something you can't change.

Narrated `Abdullah:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), the true and truly inspired said, "(as regards your creation), every one of you is collected in the womb of his mother for the first forty days, and then he becomes a clot for another forty days, and then a piece of flesh for another forty days. Then Allah sends an angel to write four items: He writes his deeds, time of his death, means of his livelihood, and whether he will be wretched or blessed (in religion). Then the soul is breathed into his body. So a man may do deeds characteristic of the people of the (Hell) Fire, so much so that there is only the distance of a cubit between him and it, and then what has been written (by the angel) surpasses, and so he starts doing deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise and enters Paradise. You misunderstood the verse the thing is destiny exist, if you are going to be rich in life or not. If you are going to be an orphan or not. If your children will die while you are still alive e.t.c all this things have been written down now it depends on how strong your faith is with all this adversities or blessings, does it makes your faith stand or fall. Going to hell or heaven depends on your faith in your God.

That's why God sent prophets, Warner's, Quran and other divine books too tell us all this things might happen but we shouldn't lose faith because it could determine the people of hell and paradise

Prophet Muhammad alone was a lesson to Muslims his children die while he was alive yet he served Allah till he died he didn't lose faith. His child dieing at a particular age has been written down but he sticking with islam till the end of his life is his choice.

What that hadith is trying to say is that whatever circumstances we find ourselves in life Allah knows and we shouldn't lose faith because it could determine the people of hell or paradise..

Allah SWT said:
"And this [Qur'an] is a Book We have revealed [which is] blessed, so follow it and fear Allah that you may receive mercy."
(QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 155)

"[We revealed it] lest you say, The Scripture was only sent down to two groups before us, but we were of their study unaware,"
(QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 156)

"Or lest you say, If only the Scripture had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they. So there has [now] come to you a clear evidence from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. Then who is more unjust than one who denies the verses of Allah and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our verses with the worst of punishment for their having turned away."
(QS. Al-An'aam 6: Verse 157)

Life is a trial for everyone of us because you serve God the way you should does not mean adversities won't befall one the way you handle it and your faith in God will determine if one will be in hell or paradise...

Does this mean take not your angel from me ?

why did Jesus use the word angel here instead of holy spirit?

Mathew 24: 36“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, f but only the Father.

Since trinity is about Father, son, Holy Spirit (Angel)

Mathew 12

32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Spirit, the Holy One, will not be forgiven, either in this world and age or in the world and age to come.

The hadith is exactly the way as I explained it the 4 items written by angels are what I put here. Human going to hell or paradise is not part of items written by Angels... That is as a result of choices made

Why do you have to lie and for what purpose ?

Knowing the true God is what will determine where you will spend your eternity .

Why did you copy only a portion of the hadith above ?
Did you say decision about humans going to hell or Paradise is not part of what is written by the angel?

Then the soul is breathed into his body. So a man may do deeds characteristic of the people of the (Hell) Fire, so much so that there is only the distance of a cubit between him and it, and then what has been written (by the angel) surpasses, and so he starts doing deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise and enters Paradise. Hadith

I asked `Urwa bin Az-Zubair (regarding the Hajj of the Prophet (ﷺ) ). `Urwa replied, "Aisha narrated, 'When the Prophet (ﷺ) reached Mecca, the first thing he started with was the ablution, then he performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba and his intention was not `Umra alone (but Hajj and `Umra together).' " Later Abu Bakr I performed the Hajj and the first thing he started with was Tawaf of the Ka`ba and it was not `Umra alone (but Hajj and `Umra together). And then `Umar did the same. Then `Uthman performed the Hajj and the first thing he started with was Tawaf of the Ka`ba and it was not `Umra alone. And then Muawiya and `Abdullah bin `Umar did the same. I performed Hajj with Ibn Az-Zubair and the first thing he started with was Tawaf of the Ka`ba and it was not `Umra alone, (but Hajj and `Umra together). Then I saw the Muhajirin (Emigrants) and Ansar doing the same and it was not `Umra alone. And the last person I saw doing the same was Ibn `Umar, and he did not do another `Umra after finishing the first. Now here is Ibn `Umar present amongst the people! They neither ask him nor anyone of the previous ones. And all these people, on entering Mecca, would not start with anything unless they had performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba, and would not finish their Ihram. And no doubt, I saw my mother and my aunt, on entering Mecca doing nothing before performing Tawaf of the Ka`ba, and they would not finish their lhram. And my mother informed me that she, her sister, Az-Zubair and such and such persons had assumed lhram for `Umra and after passing their hands over the Corner (the Black Stone) (i.e. finishing their Umra) they finished their Ihram."

"And when We appointed the House, the Ka‘ba, to be a place of visitation, to which they flock from every direction, for the people, and a sanctuary, of safety for them from the injustice and attacks that befall other places: a person could come across his father’s killer there, and yet not act violently against him; and: ‘Take (ittakhidhū is also read ittakhadhū, making it a predicate), O people, to yourselves Abraham’s station, the founding stone he used when building the House, for a place of prayer’, so that you perform two units of prayer for the circumambulation; And We made a covenant with Abraham and Ishmael, We commanded them: ‘Purify My House, of graven images, for those that shall go round it and those that cleave to it, in ritual residence, to those who bow and prostrate themselves’, that is, those who pray: (al-rukka‘ and al-sujūd are the plurals of rāki‘, ‘one bowing’, and sājid, ‘one prostrated’, respectively)."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 125)

* Via Qur'an English http://quran-en.com
Abraham and Ishmael were the ones who built the khaaba. The rituals performed there were Gods plan but the idolaters were the one who hijacked it and used it for there purpose yet keeping the ritual God intended himself at first.

When Muhammad reclaimed the khabah they only continued with the ritual Abraham and Ishmael started it.. So in short it was the idolaters who copied the ritual not the other way round..

And for more clarification
Allah SWT said:

"And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. To each of you We prescribed a law and a method. Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so race to [all that is] good. To Allah is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."

Check the bolded I repeat you misunderstood the hadith. Yes the angels write ones deeds and writing of deeds ends the day you die meaning what is written as deeds is what you have done not what was programmed. You have to do the deed before it is written.
And written of deeds starts from when one is in the mothers womb till he dies...
Allah does injustice to no one...

Humans going to hell or paradise is not a programmed thing but as a result of choices an individual make when face with either adversities or blessings which are for trial...
The deed is done before been written down by angels and not the other way round..

You are playing card with the devil .

They are idol worshippers .
The holy Gabriel , holy Michael etc they call upon are demons .

We have seen it in the Bible that we should not bow down to them .
The only name to God is the name of Jesus Christ .

We pray in Jesus name for the Father to hear us and not in the name of angels.

They also have the photographs of fake Jesus , Orimolade or Oshofa , holy marry etc in their churches . This is idolatry also .
