OP is an hypocrite, what you see there is not a big stones rather it is called hard core.Shovel,spade cutlass etc are also make use by construction worker.Only what they need to do is to excavate bad spot before putting the hard cores and then cover with lateritic material so as to avoid undulating and also prevent the tyres from bursting, though for temporary use in this case.

I get your point but it is possible for us to be like Japan. They don't have two heads there. They started from somewhere to get to where they are today but we are comfortable here with the mediocre set of people we call leaders and the rubbish they throw at us daily.

bro, sadly there are TOO MANY problems to fix in Nigeria, and not enough money to fix them.... many issues are more important than fixing the roads: aka EDUCATION, HEALTH, UNEMPLOYMENT, LOOTING, HUNGER etc... these people in power are not there to help the common people, they are there to enrich themselves, so, i look at the above as small but definitely an improvement.
